He can do it but it's not something he does or did often. He is good at short passing in and around the opposition box.

Glad we're playing Coventry at home.

They're a whole different beast on their own patch.

Since Lampards come in at home they have played 11, won 8, Lost 1 and Drawn 2 and in that time scored 20 goals and only conceded 9.

However away from home since Lampard they've played 10, but only won 5, Lost 4 and Drawn 1 and in that time scored 13 but conceded 14.

Feel they will score but also very vulnerable at the back so think we'll need to score at least 2 to win.

Final result: Dem Blades 2 - 1 Coventry

Work rate yes. Always busy always running around. The best thing about him was causing panic in the opponents area. His biggest problem has always been lack of end product. Lost count of the times he missed a shot when it was easier to score.

In regards to Rudoni, what a transformation.. honestly looked terrible under Robin's, any loose 50/50 balls was barely interested in competing for, and often bullied.

I actually had him down as one of the most disappointing off-season signings before Robin's left.

Come into his own since Lampard took over tho.

There were signs of a good player under Robins but when you keep losing it has an effect on the whole team.

And who better to learn the role of being a midfielder off than Lampard. Unplayable at times. One thing that helped was the signing of Grimes. Always looking for the ball and very rarely loses it. At least on a par with the passing range of Hamer.

Really looking forward to our next 2 games. Will give us a better idea how much we've improved. Hoping for a good performance against Burnley at our place. Our aerial threat will put them to the test. We're the top scorers of headed goals in all the top divisions in the whole of Europe.

Just a shame we don't know how to defend

I remember when he signed for you. Tried to explain what kind of player he is but was put down to sour grapes. He had a purple patch when he came back from his last injury so I can understand why most thought that was the player you had signed. Plenty of effort but not much end result. Too lightweight and easily knocked off the ball but will fight to get it back.

He has got a couple of goals for you so to me that says he has had quite a few shots. Shooting certainly isn't one of his strengths.

That's what I meant. A good player until shooting. For the positions he gets into and the ability he has to get past players you would expect much more.
