Frogs want Prem League cancelling!

The good news is that the PL and it’s fans are more concerned about the money they can make from Sky, so we will probably get the go ahead. Thank goodness for the Murdochs.

Just to piss on the chips of the Surrender Monkey crowd, loads of French actually get off their arses and go out and protest and actually stop stuff they don't want, violently in many cases.
So, all the keyboard warriors and glorious brits posting here on the back of what grandad did, might need to have a re-think.

At least they achieved finality and awarded the title euro places and relegation.

I'd take that just not voiding it

But play the fa cup.even as a pre season comp in August

Exactly my thoughts. Play the cups in pre season, mini tournaments.

To be fair it does say in the Le Parisien article that it links to (translated via Google) "According to our information, this is what the French Head of State wants: European harmonization in this area too, at least between the five major championships. England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France are therefore affected."

So assuming their sources are credible it does seem like a bit of "we've surrendered so we want you lot to as well".
According to our information, but we're unable to provide any direct quotes, or even quotes from a source, but it's definitely what they want to do, according to a French tabloid.

Had for the first time when I lived in Paris for a while, come in a special snail tray, which is basically a bowl and plate with 6 recesses in that hold the snails. Covered in melted cheese.

Fab.

Need to go back Paris, only been once and didn’t really love it compared to other cities. Probably more down to the company I guess!

I'd agree. Lived in Montparnasse for 9 months and didn't enjoy it at all, but then again I think my personal circumstances didn't help (just split moved from Johannesburg and left my ex there never to see again etc).

And it's bloody expensive.

Bit of a change from Jo’Burg bro!

I love loads of France and French locals. But going to Paris is like going to London imo. Too busy, lots of people too busy to care, rude etc. Not a notionality issue, just ultra busy metropolis.

1.4 million died fighting with us in WW2 but I suppose that doesn't fit in with the Brexit agenda..
No that didn’t, most of the french deaths were French soldiers who after the invasion were Vichy French, who fought for the Axis against the Allies.....

I like your optimisim that Bournemouth villa & Norwich are all going to accept relegation, or leeds, west brom & any 1 of 4 from 3rd - 6th are going to accept no promotion. in the 0.000000001% that clubs will think of the good of the game above themselves then yes we could do that. we all know thats not going to happen.

but also why are ending this season when their is no guarantee we might have a 2020/21 season. 2021 season shouldn't even be thought of now. once we finish the league however & whenever that maybe, with fans or no fans then we should think about if we have to fit in a season before euro 2021
It seems quite a few of the bottom 6 are none too pleased with any of this. It may simply come down to who at the Premoer League can make a decision that all the clubs have to accept.

On the basis that I was willing to accept, which has been referred to again today, it would mean that next season we will be in Europe.

As for next season, I realise that boris and all the other elfin idiots in his cabinet are not in the same league as the politicians in Germany but, if the deutchers can get this season going again it might be that they will be able to sort out next season.

At some stage we will be forced to accept that this virus is going to be around for a long, long time and we will have to live with it, go back to work and start living relatively "normal" lives again.

How long we take to get to that stage is anybody's guess.

So maybe playing behind closed doors to get through the rest of the season is the way to go.

Whatever happens as long as we are in Europe, whenever the next season does begin, I will be happy.

In the meantime, wash those hands, stay well-scrubbed and hygienic!
