Shame it's so low, they have a steep grass bank running the length of the pitch at one end that is probably too steep to stand on but would be ideal for seats. Don't think they're interested in developing the ground though as they have plans to move back to Sheffield

parking has never been adequate when I have been down to see Sheff FC ladies. Not a lot of on road close by so get there early and be prepared for a walk.

Also the pub does not service inside the ground so combining the two is a challenge with a small crowd, (used to nip out at HT) never mind a possible sell out.

I can't access instagram at the moment as social media is blocked at work in the mornings, however, if you have Sheffield FC on Instagram, have a look at the posts from the last week, i think there was something announced that they would be developing the coach and horses ground into a proper "stadium".

I also thought that they were planning to move back to Sheffield.

£8 pay on the gate, capacity about 2k, I think there maybe a healthy crowd so get there early. Parking not adequate, there are places to park though if you go past c&h pub (on you right) turn right at traffic lights, the fishing shop has a decent sized car park, failing take a left after the traffic lights and there are a few places to park, on road and in the car parks (howdens/polaris etc)

I can't access instagram at the moment as social media is blocked at work in the mornings, however, if you have Sheffield FC on Instagram, have a look at the posts from the last week, i think there was something announced that they would be developing the coach and horses ground into a proper "stadium".

I also thought that they were planning to move back to Sheffield.

That's a shame if they are to remain in Dronfield.

All efforts led by the Sheffield City Council should be put in to find a home for them in Sheffield. Olive Grove preferably.

I've nothing against snooker but if SCC could muster the same enthusiasm for the worlds most popular spectator sport as it does for the World Snooker Championships then it would be sorted now.

Failing that get the Boundaries Commission (?) to give us Dronfield. It's probably a dormitory of Sheffield already.

Big field behind with a free view , although i dont advocate anybody taking advantage , at a Testimonial , but if sold out and desperate to see the match , i am sure you could find a way to pay , its only a few quid anyway . Google earth it .
