Forgettable XI

This thread actually shows a startling ignorance from too many of our fans :(

Sagi Burton, and Mark Blount.

Andy Barnsley, Jeff Eckhardt, Paul Richardson, Paddy McGeeny, and Paul 'fall on mi arse in front of open nets' Williams.

Paul Thirlwell was completely invisible. He played numerous games for us, but never actually did anything. Positive or otherwise. He was like a ghost. Did we just have a mass hallucination about this mysterious floating entity...? He was like mist.

What utter shit they all were.

Willie Falconer aka The Invisible Man. I genuinely find it almost impossible to picture him in a Blades shirt.

The dynamic duo from Man U Alex Notman and Michael Twiss, I can't remember a single thing they did. I guess we have a way of blocking out past trauma.

Notman looked briefly amazing solely because we got him straight after Twiss.

Wonderful assessment of Paul Thirwell .

I remember watching him in an FA cup match away against Arsenal . It was over 70 minutes before he took any part whatsoever in the proceedings, and that was to give away a free kick .

Wage thief of the highest magnitude .

Paul Hall - Jamaican international wide player signed by Neil on loan from Coventry.

Andrew Davies - CB high on aggression but low on ability. Think his debut was against Pigs. Blackwell signed him on loan from Middlesbrough maybe?

Carl Robinson - Welsh international who came in on loan circa 2004 ?

Ashley Sestanovich - Can't even recall him playing. But I do recall he was a double for Thierry Henry and got sent down for robbery.

Sean McGinty - Pretty sure I saw his only game, a miserable away day at Bradford where we lost 2-0.

Adrian Littlejohn (2nd spell). Hopeless.

Chris Wilder (2nd spell). Think he was signed by then caretaker boss Steve Thomson. Did he even play ?

I'd swap Shaun Miller for the lump that is Jay McEveley, never have I seen a more inadequate defender being played out of position at left-back.
If left back was out of position , where was in position?

Surely not Centre back. When you are totally shit in the air, CB can't be your natural position

Martin Smith was our top scorer during Adrian Heath's reign but I can't remember anything about him and you never hear his name mentioned.
