I'm not old enough to go back further than the early 80s, but it will be good to have a few more foreign players knocking about.

Some have been great and some have been Lauren Ten Heuvel, but it adds a bit of colour to the club.

We've only signed one from abroad (permanently) since Gary Speed (I think Tonne and the other one I can't remember came then)

I have fond memories of the likes of Borbokis, Flo, Nilsen, Katchuro, Marcelo, Suffo etc.

I realise I might be an uncultured slob, but it feels a little fancy, and I could use a little fancy right now.

How could you forget Boussatta?

Who was the centre back, think he may have been Argentinian, Parma or someone

never forget len de goey
Harry haslam Sheffield United signed him for £100k from Sparta Rotterdam yet their accounts indicated he left on a free as his contract had expired. No doubt large agents fees in those days as well

Elian Parrino

Luton Shelton (Jamaican) and Christian Nade (French) in that front line. Colin Kazim-Richards could have been classed as Turkish. Ahmed Fathy (Egyptian) definitely missed Paul Peschisolido (Canadian) off your list. Claude Davis (Jamaican) David Sommeil (Guadalupe), David Carney (Australian) Sun Jihai (Chinese) probably more I have missed and that's before Alan Quinn, Paddy Kenny etc with Ireland and Nick Montgomery with Scotland

Thanks to Brexit he just can’t sign just anyone as certain criteria needed now to obtain a work permit

I heard once we signed an Argentinian player Sabella I think his name was but it was him or Maradonna.
