Yes yes I know, it’s a meaningless and pointless table - the actual table is the only table that matters and the final one is the only one of those that matters - play to the final whistle and all that, but there seem to have been so many stoppage time goals, both scored and conceded by all the teams at the top of the league that I thought I’d waste half an hour of my life and work out how different things would look without those pesky additional minutes.


The moral of the story? Don’t take your time Sheff United, don’t play football the Norwich way (‘cause we’re not very good at it)

Have we scored a goal in the last minute/ stoppage time to win a point or three outside of Norwich at home?

Recall Stoke, Rotherham, Villa and Millwall off the top of my head. 8 points lost in this time period.

Not even sure it's fitness but when you look at above it is a concern...although we have seen out lots of games too and fairy professionally.

Leeds and Norwich tend to gain points in this period. Can't recall too many games when we've been battering teams in that final period even when behind (even the few defeats we have had...Swansea, West Brom, Bristol etc...can't recall us looking like scoring much late on)

It was quite obvious on Saturday that one goal wasn’t going to be enough to win the game. People have said we looked tired, but once we seem to get our noses in front we seem to reach for the off switch. We really can’t do 1-0 very well. If we were going into the last 15 minutes at 0-0, I’d be more confident of victory from that position than if we were leading 1-0.
