Follow, Follow, Follow...etc - what a rubbish song.

I do not understand why it is necessary to sing that awful song.

What is the point about singing a song which mentions players who are no longer with us, McNulty and Sammon who is on loan, and has hardly attained iconic status, not to mention Diego de Girolamo who can't even get in the first team.

What a load of old bollocks.

Just because it rhymes doesn't make it any good!

We have some of football's greatest songs (Greasy Chip Butty, Barrel of Money, No Pig Fans in Town) but they are currently horribly underused in favour of stuff that has been copied from YouTube videos.

Not many sadder things from a fan culture perspective than both sets of fans singing "Everywhere we go" at the same time.

I could not agree more, those timeless classics gave us an identity which separated ourselves from anyone else.

I'm all for new songs being sung etc, but lets try and reserve such songs for players who are at least cult figures, Jose Baxter (baby) being an example.

We were raised on the terraces, unfortunately anyone following SUFC from the mid-90s onwards won't truly appreciate standing with yer mates and then thirty seconds after a goal, we're 100yds apart.

The one that makes me cringe the most is the simple chant of "Yorkshire" invariably shouted during games with Lancastrian or London sides. We don't even like most teams from Yorkshire so why we would suddenly affiliate ourselves to the whole county seems absurd.

One I think does not get aired enough is the "Oh Sheffield is wonderful........"

I vaguely remember the "If I had the wings of a sparrow...." and the "We hate Nottingham Forest we hate Sunderland too..." (to the tune of Land of Hope and Glory) - why don't these get sung anymore, is it just lost over generations?

I like the Yorkshire chant to be honest! We don't like the only other Sheffield side either do we but we still sing Sheffield Sheffield etc especially to Leeds fans. Whenever you watch videos of our away fans, usually under the concourse at some ground, its usually the follow follow song etc and usually sung by the "younger" element! I'm 36 and feel an old git saying that, but I'd much rather us sing the songs mentioned before like a barrel of money etc. I'm a big fan of the rather repetitive chant of Sheffield United, Sheffield United...! I've known that go on for ages, but less so these days.

I seem to remember an attempted updated version getting an airing in Danny Wilson's 1st season with Maguire in there but I can't remember how he was shoe-horned into the lyrics.
