You are actually crazy if you think Plymouth will let their first choice keeper go in January who will cost decent money. We have other important positions to focus on. I actually think the suggestion does make sense, we need another GK who is playing regularly and can make the step up. That rules out any PL GK so logically you would abroad or in Champ, Plymouth are not getting promoted and may even get relegated, so what is wrong with the suggestion?

His distribution is really bad. He is a good shot stopper, but good keeping is an awful lot more than that.

Wes is Player of the year as voted by fans so far.

So he ain’t going anywhere.

But if we were ever serious about staying up we had to replace him in the summer. Said this before, but the Prem has changed, most teams employ high press and to counter that and keep some of the ball you need a keeper who can play and use the ball well.
He can’t.

He’s not prem quality, and that’s without any doubt a fact.

People going on about him being a good shot stopper, he isn't. He was terrible today even the third he dived with the wrong hand. He got lucky with a lot of shots today that he palmed instead of catching.
His performances have been crap this season. Davies is worse and that's the only thing keeping him in the team.
If he keeps getting worse then maybe Davies is worth a look

Problem is can say that about nearly the whole team - not prem quality- yes be great to have a new keeper but lots of areas that need better quality

It’s been masked by the amount of regulation saves he’s made which have buffed up his numbers.

He’s not a PL quality keeper, but then we don’t have any Premier League quality players anywhere.

I actually went today. Sat in the Carrma corner or whatever it’s called. Total disbelief Wes didn’t just put his foot through it first time.

It completely killed the game, though up to that point it had been one the worst halves of football I’d seen in ages, and I’d seen Rotherham vs Leeds last night when they were second best all the first half and still went in with parity.

We absolutely needed a keeper in the summer as Wes is an undisputed No1 and that is bad news in such a critical position.
