Don’t know that one. Oadby was a bit of a no go area when I was a student. Which I always thought odd as it’s the posh end and has all the halls of residence there.

It was 1994 when I was there though! Although I lived in stoneygate at first. Then nearer uni so no need to bother trying to go to oadby.

I was there 1983-84 in halls and can remember the supermarket and bank (pre ATMs!) in Oadby but not the pubs. Moved to Belgrave Road and had a fantastic Marston’s street corner local, The Victoria Jubilee.

Enjoying this Leicester love-in. I was there at uni ‘07-10. In Digby for halls then lived on London Road above a Chinese right next to the Loaded Dog (if anyone knows it). Dream of a location. Looking forward to doing Leicester away again this year. Did it for the FA Cup when we played them recently. The Dry Dock fairly near the ground has closed now which is a shame.
