I’ve not seen any posts on Flecky hence the new post. Apologies if I’ve missed one. Just wanted to say I thought he was immense on Sat and made a huge (massive) contribution.

I would definitely agree! Not sure why some on here give him stick, although everyone's entitled to their opinion. Perhaps it's because he's not really a specialist in one area, i.e. not the standout passer, or dribbler etc. But he's an absolutely brilliant all round midfielder and I bloody love him.

I'm a big Fleck fan too, however............................ he will need to continually raise his game this season. He hasn't really had any competition for a starting role since he signed 3 years ago. That midfield slot of his is absolutely key in the premiership. Tufty will show no sentiment in January or the summer if Flecky doesn't deliver.

I certainly wouldn't say he had an "immense" game either. He was ok / decent, but nothing ridiculously special.

If people want to give Lundstram a lot of defensive credit then they should with Fleck as well.

Good or bad(rare) you will find Fleck is always heavily involved in the game. Tackle, pass, always looking for the ball. People who slag him should remember the years we had prior to him of midfielders going missing, Making the easiest pass backwards and being allergic to driving forward.
