Dificult to quantify the performance last night in a pointless game.

On the one hand we played quite a few young lads, many making a debut. We apparently played quite well and scored some good goals.
On the other hand, while we rested a few, perhaps Grimsby did too. And they are a league behind us as well.

And while we do have the luxury of blooding so many kids able to put in a performance for the first team, having seen first hand the youth team of Grimsby last week.....they do not have the same luxury as we do.

It's not a derby game. Our only derby games are against the pigs. Chezzy are just another poky team in a poky league that we should have been out of by now. The fact that we aren't is because for the last few seasons we have been a poky team too. Hopefully this is the season that changes that.

Whilst you may not like it,the fact is that games against The Pigs,Toytown,The Six Fingered Ones,Pikey Central and Chedsterfield are all Derbys by virtue of the proximity of the clubs to each other.
They are no more a pokey team in a pokey league than we are.
To bang on otherwise denies facts and is exactly what Pig fans do.
