However, the point I was making previously is that far too many on here think it's an easy progression from U23s and have little or no awareness of the gulf between the levels.
Can't remember ever reading on here somebody claiming that it is an "easy progression". Who are these people?

Unfortunately I have neither the time nor inclination to sift through the thousands of posts on there (you're welcome to do so to prove me wrong so you wish) but there have been plenty of calls for U23s to promoted to the first team and play games - that harks back to even McCabe believing the 2011 Youth Cup Final team was strong enough to base the team around and plenty since believing that players such as Semple, Wright, Dimaio , DdG, Slater, right through to the current batch of U23s.

Good debut. Still looks a bit raw but very direct and looks to push forward at any opportunity. Put some good crosses in as well.

This is why loaning our player out is integral. I’d be much happier if we loaned both Osula and Jebbison out for a season and brought in someone like Grabben

Been waiting for this kid to blow. Missed the game through work. How did he get on?

Has looked excellent so far this season, makes what looked like a bizarre (to me at least at the time) decision to loan Curtis out seem more reasonable

Needs to be careful not to over elaborate or go too gung-ho but yes he looked very good. Doubt he would be a good starter or if he did he’d have to rein it in a bit

I don't understand how he struggled to get any minutes at Rochdale and Rotherham.

While he's not going to be first choice, I love that we can bring him and Brooks on against tiring defences.

I thought Buyabu would be the one to come through this season but he seems to have regressed a little while Seriki has looked very good.
