February 2017 - Make or Break

It does look like our hardest month.

This is why we have to try and be in the top 2 by January. And when you look at our fixtures until then, we should be able to do it. It's in our hands.

But it could look different by then. Bristol Rovers and Scunthorpe might have slipped. I think Peterborough will be harder though, they'll probably have a new manager.
I dont think Scunny will keep it up either

It looks a tricky month on paper but after the shite we've been served up in recent seasons, (cup runs and our unbeaten run under Clough apart) i'm just going to live for and enjoy every game whilst we keep showing the effort, desire and quality we're showing in recent games. Lets just cherish the fucker, it's great been a Blade and every other team in the league is finally fearing playing us again, so fuck February, fuck Mk plastics and fuck the piggy cunts up the road, other than that Sothall_Blade it's a great OP mate. :D

Anyone taken the possibility of postponements into account?
Maybe a decent FA Cup run too?
Injuries, suspensions, JTW ins and outs?

Four months away, let's finish October on a high and start November like we mean "more business".

Agreed Lydon. Too many things can go right or wrong in the next four months. Fuck February. Hang on to now and try and burn every opponent as they turn up. Bam! One gone. Boom! Hey that's another.

Never really gone along with this take it a game at a time, ok if you are a manager or player but a fan? We aren't going to have any influence on proceedings and I quite enjoy looking ahead a little, bit like somebody mentioned a few days ago about us having 7 home and 3 away games coming up to the end of the year, takes alsorts I suppose.
That's the statistic I like, not who we've got, but where we've got them.
7H 3A.

It looks tricky at the moment but I don't think the 'after ten games' rule applies to this league so much as it does to the two above. A lot of teams in L1 (Wimbledon, Rovers, maybe even Scunthorpe, in that top six) will probably start to plummet if they pick up a few injuries, which they're highly likely to. I wouldn't be surprised if February doesn't look so significant by the time it comes around.

We'll get at least 19 points from them lot.

Are we allowed to talk about February yet?

We play the teams who are currently 1st, 3rd, 7th, 8th, 9th and 13th.

I think the results could potentially make or break our season

Or it could do neither. A couple of draws against the rivals isn't impossible, and there's nothing to fear in the other games if we bring our best form.

If we sort out this defensive malaise we'll start picking up the sort of points we've tossed away recently. Even if we perform ordinarily.
