Could get back the the early 80's where the only people left going to games were the hooligans (apparently)
not as easy to get away with thought these days with CCTV everywhere and also people willing to film stuff on phones and offer it as evidence. Like those Chelsea racists in Paris who got their comeuppance, some of em lost their fancy jobs as well as getting life bans by the club.

Jonatahn Buchan said on RS some videos been sent to him from today.

Bert was sat in his car at the railway station today. Across the road a dispute breaks out between an Asian (Malaysia?) taxi driver and a scruffy yobbish looking car driver. Yob shouts and threatens taxi driver, bangs on his window then tells him to F*** off back to his own country. They get back in their cars, move twenty yards forward then both get out again and Yob assaults taxi driver then drives off feeling pleased with himself.
Police arrive........ Bert walks across the road and points out that he filmed it all on his phone Arf Arf. Bert then heads for his Gentleman's Club, his good deed done for the day.

There is something very English about a nosey Parker , do Gooder , serving the community of the rights and wrongs .

The only positive mitigating circumstances is that the scruffy yobbish looking car driver , wearing a 90s SWFC shell suit , whose first name was Mark , who lived at a address in Pitsmoor . .

The Asian, Malaysia , Johnny Foreigner , colononial friend no doubt in this case was the innocent party .

Well done Bert and hope you enjoyed your day at the WMC.

Genuinely shocked by the behaviour of the pitch side mob. Players (of both sides) didn't want to go anywhere near. The belief visibly drained away from our players.

The chant of 'Not fit to wear the shirt' was out-of-order, United were dominant (admittedly squandering chance after chance), until they scored against run of play. The second goal was the cue for an instant pitchside rush by some, who must have itching to shout vitriol at our players. All hope of a fightback gone from that moment.

Been to the match today and thought I'd add my two penneth worth. Today and at Donny we have seen an influx of young gobshite disrespectful knobheads, loud, brash, pissed and only interested in singing songs about drinking beer and Adam Johnson. At Donny they were intimidating to kiosk staff and wrecking the place. Today it was smoke bombs again and tug of war with the ground sheets. They do genuine fans no favours, Its bad enough us fans being blamed without being tarnished with the idiot element.
The match. A very good first half that just lacked a goal or two. Cuvelier was excellent and we were a breathe of fresh air. Second half Dale changed formation and eased there way back into the game. The usual first shot on target and it was 1-0. Gradually, like most games we fall behind in we slowly caved in and the frustrations came out. You can understand the genuine fans issues after 5 seasons. We look further away from promotion with regards player quality than ever before. The dogs abuse was partially justified due to the pathetic way we ended the game but the performance was nothing like as bad as Bury. We have all seen worse. Sadly I think we can all agree we just aren't good enough. On a plus point with our fans I'd like to add we showed our respect for the Rochdale lady in the 63rd minute and also for our beloved Shred. A shame the low life's stole the limelight from them

These wankers may be hooligans, but they aren't football hooligans. They're the same immature fools who sang the "he'll shag who he wants " song. This isn't the BBC. They show off in the safest of places, inside the ground with no away fans. Stewards with limited powers. Little if any police presence and because of that able to threaten and intimidate ( generally) young kids manning the kiosks in the away end.

Let's see how many are at Millwall, where stewards have a clue and are up for a ruck. If they do go they'll be around the relatively safe environs of touristy Tower Bridge. They won't be showing off in New Cross or Deptford. Pity.

It's not the first time and won't be the last and even sadder than that, it's going to get worse. Porterfields era, Heaths era, Haslams era, McEwans era.
This boardroom like boardrooms before them have created a shit club that has divided the fans

Having a quite fanatical fanbase is great but like all fanatics it has a nasty streak running through it when things get as bad as they are now

There are various stages of fans decline that leads to events like todays.
Offer fanatical support.......We've all seen it at some of our games in the past
Try to support the team when things start going bad
Go quiet when nobody can stop the decline
Stay absolutely silent when it gets worse
Generically slag things off when it gets worse still
Stop the generic slagging off and target individual players and managers giving them personal abuse when it gets beyond worse
Bang..............The whole shitload hits the fan and we see what has happened today

Not defending it but many clubs with a hooligan problem see it coming out in it's worse form when the club is at rock bottom and shows no sign of improvement

Instead of this disgusting behaviour the fans need to channel that anger in the right way, and that means not turning up.
Doing nothing certainly won't work, clapping and cheering the wankers certainly won't work, so the alternative is to stay away

For starters, can someone tell the BBC that they're pretending to be part of them. That should first earn them a good shooing. Secondly, I can anyone with footage or knowledge of those taking part report it to the police and the club. I want to these these pondlife get a lifetime ban and a prison sentence.

I can't abide hooliganism full stop. This is mindless vandalism and intimidation against random people, either Blades or people working at Rochdale, Doncaster etc.

We're allegedly a family club. I assume the Manson Family club from our off the field exploits over the last decade.

That's right, sidestep the issue.

The issue where I've said these morons are hooligans but not "football hooligans" ? In that they aren't fighting with opposition fans?

These tossers spewing bile and vitreol at both players and fellow fans are so behind the times. Most like minded Blades anger subsided weeks ago.
I think the mood amongst the fans is now a combination of resignation and indifference.

Roll on Tuesday. Will McCabe be there I wonder ? Looks like he will need an armed guard once Clough has turned us over and headed off to the Championship. In the words of the prophet have gone for a Burton.

Good post but i ask did Adkins get done tactically in the last 20 min ?

Tactical or not, it's the same old story. If we go behind we never recover to win. It's a fact this season. We have very little fight in us. Wigan away was a complete one off

Jonathan Buchan's in his element on P&G, totally loving it - building a vast story out of summat & nowt. Meanwhile we lost to Rochdale. Fucking Rochdale. For the first time in 126 years of history.

No wonder there are divisions amongst fans & frustrations boiling over.

Wish the division was around the distance between S2 & S6.
