Hey, how do you think your season has gone so far?
If I were to grade our start, I'd give us a B+ but be suggesting that an A+ was within reach. We win games ugly - which is fine - but it means that the manager gets some real stick when we lose ugly. We've got more points than I expected so it's been a promising if unspectacular start for the Blades.

What is your squad's main strength?
A few weeks back, I'd have said DEFENCE in a shot but it's been shaky of late. If we can get it back fit and on track, the back four of Kyle Walker, Chris Morgan, Matt Kilgallon and Andy Taylor is a match for any Championship strikeforce.

What is your squad's main weakness?
Too one dimensional. We play direct, ugly football that is usually effective. However, when a team can cope with that - Leicester City as an example - we don't seem to have a Plan B.

Who has been your star player so far?
Tough one - there hasn't been a standout player for me. Mark Bunn and Keith Treacy - the loan signings - have settled in well, Kyle Walker continues to improve, Chris Morgan and Matt Kilgallon are solid as ever. If I had to name one player though, it would be Nick Montgomery. His hard work and destructive work have long been in evidence but he is a better footballer now - not creative but simple and most importantly for Monty, to a red and white shirt 9 times out of 10.

How do you view Ipswich Town as a club?
It's an odd relationship between United and the Tractor Boys. For 3/4 years in the late 1990's, they were amongst the more hated teams at Bramall Lane thanks to Play Off games, Ipswich's ability to keep beating us and a certain Mr Taricco. That has calmed off now and I do admire the way they stick to their footballing principles. Always a darkhorse in this division.

How do you view Ipswich Town's current performances and set up?
Saw them on TV on Saturday and they looked abysmal. Keane seems a motivator to a certain type of player but I get the feeling that Sunderland's squad was more suited to Keane when he arrived there than the current Ipswich squad. Ipswich are a pretty footballing team and Keane doesn't really fit that for me. I don't think they're in any major danger but survival won't be enough for the fans. Can see Keane being gone by May.

If you could have any Ipswich player, who would it be and why?
Have always rated Richard Wright as a solid dependable goalkeeper but the young, tall striker thats breaking through down there (Conor Wickham?) looks a very good player from the bits I've seen. Would probably suit United perfectly!

Do you think Keano can really turn this around? How do you see our season progressing?
I think he'll get the results to get you out of trouble but a promotion push is disappearing fast. The pace at the top is fast early on and from here, mid-table would be a solid finish for Ipswich.

Any tips for travelling Town fans?
Enjoy Bramall Lane - it's the oldest professional football ground in the country and has ten times more character than any of the plastic bowls at Leicester and Reading and Coventry. However, be prepared for stiff knees on Wednesday morning. There isn't much legroom on the Bramall Lane Lower Tier!

Being a Blade - we're famed for pessimism - it's a nailed on Ipswich first win of the season! Seriously, think it'll be close but United to sneak it 1-0 or 2-1.

Hey, how do you think your season has gone so far?

I'd say we are going ok, a better start than I would have thought we would have, however, a lot of our fans think otherwise and are already calling for Blackwell and the chairnan McCabe to go! We don't look pretty at times, we play the pressure game, getting the ball forward and following up. Blackwell does have a good points ratio though so who is right?

What is your squad's main strength?

I think we are very fit and can compete but it's not always enough is it?

What is your squad's main weakness?

Our defence is weaker this season and we often struggle to keep the ball. Perhaps it's a weakness in tactics but often it looks like player weakness to me too. Despite our presumed wealth we still have a weak squad in terms of numbers too!

Who has been your star player so far?

I'd say our success so far has been Ward who will be out injured against you. Others who should be steady should be Morgan, Killgallon and Monty.

How do you view Ipswich Town as a club?

I'm old enough to remember your good days, so would never call you a small club although most of our "newer" fans may expect an easy win.

How do you view Ipswich Town's current performances and set up?

You are underchieving at the moment and it must hurt. The expectation must be high and on paper it looks a good set up.

If only it was that easy!

Not sure on this one......players seem to be great at one club and crap at the next so.....pass!

Any manager should be given more time than the fans/press give them.

It does take time.....but in this instant society it never happens!

I think you will improve......you have to mate!

We are generally a friendly lot......some pubs will let you in and there is plenty of on street parking if you arrive early.

Our season has been pretty average so far - most Blades would be disappointed if we were outside the play-offs, but given the big names in the division this time it's no real surprise that we're where we are. Would expect to see us in the top three or four come May.

Main strength? - Work rate

Main weakness? - Service to the strikers - too few goals from up front.

Star? - I'd agree with BB - Morgs

What's the view of ITFC? - Pity you play in blue and white - that's never a good start at the Lane!! You have a habit of being a bogey side for us - and you're bloody awful to get to - - but I've never had an axe to grind with you guys. Always felt you're a club your town should be proud of - great history, especially for a small community.

Performances and set up? - Where did it all go wrong?? You need Kevin McCabe (our uber-Chairman!!) - but we've got him already :thumbup:

Which ITFC player would I have - Mick Mills in his prime!!

Can Keano turn it around? - Honestly dunno - I think we'll find out a great deal about the calibre (and ability) of the man over the next few months.

Tips for fans - Try any Timothy Taylors Landlord you come across - You'll never drink your southern muck again!! - But BB is right, most of us Blades are a friendly enough bunch

Match prediction? - This is a trick question so we bring bad luck on the Blades - so my prediction is Northwich Victoria 3 - Harrogate Town 1

We are utterly screwed tomorrow night. Basically. Alex Bruce is our only good defender and he's injured. So we'll have 4 terrible defenders with our two centre backs being under the age of 22. You should be able to cut us open with ease.
