Thats all I can think to say.

Only sheffield united could do this, be 10 points clear and still go down by 1 goal.

Only sheffield united could get relegated every 13 years for the past 50 years.

Only sheffield united could manage to get relegated when next season would be worth 60 million.

Only could sheffield united wait 13 years to get back in the prem and then go straight back down.

I say I cant believe it but I can, its sheffield united we are talking about. We will always be losers.

Im gutted, I've had enough of the fucking championship, fucking preston and shit little teams like scunny and colchester.

Good ridance to all the glory fans, they wont be there next season.

Gutted.

UTB.

Goodbye warnock.

Cheers Jags.

No it isnt, but were the only ones to blame, warnock mostly.

10 points clear.

Gutted.:(

warnock is to blame. shitty tactics away from home could have saved us that goal thats sent us down.
after seein that what jagz has done.... i dont care if it was his last game in a blades shirt. jumping with 2 hands in the air is stupid... to do it in the box is another thing. webber missed 2 sitters too.

gotta agree with most of this, we've been too negative away from home. we needed 2 goals and i think somewhere we could have done something to prevent conceding silly goals. And as for Jagielka i want to know how he felt afterward, going with hands in the air is stupid. i would rather us concede a goal 'in play' with them heading in at the backpost, than conceding a ridiculous penalty. It just makes it harder to take knowing that it was a stupid decision which wasn't needed.

I think F**k sums up the same for me.

A change in manager is needed now end of story.

If we want to go back up longball football and poor defensive tactics arnt the way to go.

its just proven it. hoofball and 451 dont work in the prem. now were down, pick a team that will work in the prem. geary davis morgan and killa back 4 sorted. should do well in this league.

I assume that this is just a knee-jerk comment folowing an awful afternoon.

Jagielka is an abolute legend and i wish him nothing but success for his career which will, no doubt, see him move on to bigger and better things. I attach no blame to him for the result today or for our final league position.

We have not been relegated because of the penno today or West Ham playing illegal players...we have gone down because we have amounted less points then 17 other clubs in this league.

yeah i see where your coming from. only the fact it was 1-1 until he jumped up with 2 hands in the air trying to tip it over, giving away a pen thats sent us down. so your telling me that had nothing to do with us loosing?

Collectively, the team did not turn up for the first half and that cost us the game in my opinion.

No blame is attached to jagielka individually but as a part of the team i suppose he takes his share of the burden.

My point was that to throw insults at the player of the year and possibly the best united player of the past decade because of a rush of blood strikes me as somewhat short sighted.

But of that is how you feel then you are entitled to your opinion.

Not the way to get relegated really.

Rather of gone down by points than goals.

fucking shit, we needed to paly well when it mattered and surprise surprise we fuck it up fuck off warnock

throwing insults at jagz. can you find where abouts i threw an insult at jagz. you said you dont attach any blame to him for the result today. whys that? because he won player of the year, oh well.. its o.k then to jump up and handle the ball in the box with 2 hands. individually he should take the blame for the seccond goal. and the team and manager should take the blame for the game.

I'm not going to get into a childish argument about this, you seem to be the authority on who is to blame and i don't care enough to argue with you.

your point was that you don't care if jags never plays for united again.

I on the other hand think he is the best player this club has seen for over a decade and hope he stays as long as possible.

Lot's of different opinions and reactions always follow a relegation.

Try not to fall out over these things....it's not worth it.

The Chairman, Board, Manager and the players will sort out what happens over the summer. Whoever these may be.

We should chill and get the throat and the bank balance ready for next season!

:)

So.

How did you feel at the final whistle?
Were you at BDTBL or watching via TV?
If the 13 year cycle is to carry on, we need to achieve promotion in the next two seasons.

I love nostalgia....

Some blasts from the past there, regarding the usernames.

I remember being distraught at the final whistle. Didn’t think we had any real chance of going down at all that day. Everything had to go against us and it did.

I have grim memories of offering prayers to any deities that might be listening that MANCHESTER FUCKING UNITED would equalise, while at the same time knowing in my heart that they wouldn't. I will go to my grave maintaining that Ferguson threw that match to get first dibs on signing Tevez.

Funnily enough, I hold absolutely no grudge against Tevez himself, and never have. He was simply "doing his job" as they say. I developed a lifelong, bitter and truly vicious hatred towards W*st H*m though. In spite of wise words from older heads, I cannot and will not "let it go." I will despise those despicable, disgraceful, cheating, lying cockney cunts (sorry dad) for the rest of my life, with a passion normally only reserved for the S6 club.

Edit...my dad is not a cockney. He just disapproves of me using the "C" word, and does post on here.
