PFA would kick off over a wage cap which is where the money is "lost" plus now with Saudi there is a risk of the top level stars wages growing even morei was watching sky sports news & kaveh was trying to explain & him giving evertons explanations for why they shouldnt be punished. it did make me think that despite they never having being more money in the game. clubs are no better off & this an accumulation of the consequences of their actions. i think im right premier league has brought nearly 14 billion in the last 3 tv deals.
with that kind of money. i find it hard to weather their excuse of covid & russias invasion of ukraine being a factor in this. PL teams didnt go through money like water through a sieve losing 1.3m a week. they wouldnt be saying well if we hadnt lost out on 200m on naming rights from a russian business & we would be fine. or but for a pandemic you wouldve been fine.
it will never happen but like i say with the EFL. they need to make teams break even. 14 billion in the last 3 tv deals. everton are talking about that & high cost of borrowing. the mind boggles
