He was shit, lazy and a wage thief when he played for Spurs.
That was years back, and he’s 35 now so how shit will he be now??!!

I hope Hammers sign him, but this is pure Agent speak, Wilder wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole.

While i agree with you that i wouldn't want him here, 35 goals in 90 prem games for Spurs would suggest he wasn't all that bad

More to the game than goals. A striker who jogs about the front line, and only shows an interest when the ball is passed to him isn’t a player I would take.
In other words he wouldn’t have scored at that rate had he been playing for Sunderland!

Lookin for a retirement home, hopefully in London.

No chance he will come back to the Premier League, let alone sign for us.

There's absolutely no chance we're interested in Adebayor, Ribery, Carroll. Surely this must be the same agent touting us with his free agents.

The only one I slightly could see happening is Valencia because of the fact he's a RWB and is a natural leader with PL.

This ship sailed many, many moons ago. If fortunate you might get a performance on a 1 in 20 game ratio, but a combination of showboating and not being able to harness his obvious talents was always going to be his downfall. A lack of discipline and an appetite for a fat pay-check were/are the drivers that caused EB's decline in the English game. I can't say he's been missed.

Clearly we're in a no-news period, so the fact that a 'fib' is sanctioned by an editor (shame on whoever allows this) is at the root of this nonsense. There's a section of Blades support that hungers for something, anything, just as long as it feeds threads like this. Somehow, the current belief is that all transfer business should have been conducted within 72 hours of the window opening, and when it doesn't happen it's when anxiety and panic take control, as if we're behind some type of imaginary transfer curve, and that other clubs are ahead of us and thus something's wrong at United.

Emmanuel, classic porn......so I’ve been told. On a really not very interested note, Adebayor would be about as welcome as a fart in a space suit. He would get turned away from the French Foreign Legion for being too mercenary.

By the way, not on a racist note, I could not understand one word out of the fuckers mouth when he was on the BBC World Cup Panel in South Africa. He spoke that fast, what the fuck was he on?????? Like Santa Claus on Prozac at Disney World getting noshed off.

Adebaygi'o'er

Can't wait for Wilder to get back to the office so he can take the piss out of all these rumours in an interview.

“So Alan, glad with our signings in the close season. Zippy and George upfront, a Dalek in the holding midfield role, Queen Mother on the right wing, Elvis on the left, an actual brick wall in defence and Sylvester Stallone in goal. Subs will be Pol Pot, Hitler and Kyle Minogue”.

Imagine the scenes as Ribery whips in a cross for Adebayor to nod home at the Kop end, and Bramall Lane goes wild!!

West Ham United are lining up a move for former Arsenal and Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor. The 35-year-old Togo international is a free agent and Watford and Sheffield United are also interested.(Sun)
