Its weird calling any blade a gloryhunter to be honest, but to then assume they started supporting united when they joined the forum is bizarre.

Or that age and length of service somehow makes you a bigger Blade. Personally I don't give much of a toss if someone has been supporting the Blades since the year dot; their experience is no more valid than someone who only started going to matches last year. A twat is a twat, regardless of how long they've been a supporter.

But a twat who has experienced the drop from Div1 to Div 4 in a relatively short time as well as being gob-smacked by the thoughts and actions of our various owners and managers during the same perioyd has a far better sense of perspective than any twat whose only been around for the last few years of success. ;)

Not necessarily. Only if they look at everything objectively, which let's be honest, no one does.
 
I still think Buendia would lift us to the next level as regards our attacking options.
Again I wonder If a loan could be an affordable option. that said with the hoof were playing lately the ball would be flying way above his head The majority of the game.
still I would love to see him in our RCM Position.

True flecks fitness issues are getting a bit of a worry he hasn't been fully fit for what maybe 4/5 months

Osborne is a trier but hes a Left back turned Midfielder he isn't good enough in midfield

I agree 100%. Love the effort of Osbourne, but not quite EPL quality. But says a lot when getting the nod ahead of Fleck.

What are the chances we can pull of Buendia and maybe a free Wilshere ;)
 
Struggling to fathom how no Premier League club are bringing Buendia in after the season he had with Norwich last season.

Some very good attacking players still on the market from the Championship going into the final two days; Benrahma, Cantwell, Sarr, D Brooks, J King.

I'd be shocked if there isn't a last minute flurry of activity on Friday. Still think we're crying out for another midfield player.

Problem is that what club from the Championship is going to sell a key play at such a late stage, unless its for a minimum fee release or for a very inflated fee. I hope I'm wrong but just don't see us signing a midfielder over the next few days, we'll be lucky to sign a cover LCB.
 
I was in Norwich yesterday for work. Had a look around to see if I could see him anywhere, no joy unfortunately and I had the sack ready to throw over him and then bundle him Into the boot of the car. Thought I would drop him out in Shirecliffe for cwak. Even asked the Farke lookalikey who was working on the Carrow Road Ncp carpark if he’d seen owt of him, said he ain’t seen him since last week, Bollox waste Of a trip.
Joking aside, he would be a great asset and would be a fantastic signing. Come on Chrissie Wilder you know this makes sense mate........

I suspect that a lot of clubs have been waiting to see what, if any, support to Championship clubs might be coming from the PL clubs before gauging whether they need to sell (and at what price) – think for example of the Rodon to Spurs move where it’s all gone a bit quiet. There’s been support agreed today heading to L1/L2 clubs, but nothing settled on the championship, so I reckon this might be the moment some clubs start to look to complete deals.

I think we'll go back in for Ben Davies.
Preston need the money. They have about half a dozen of their best players (Ben Pearson etc...) all in the final year of their contract. It has all of the hallmarks of a Wilder bargain-type signing. They're asking for £10m, but in 10 weeks time he can negotiate a free exit for himself. They'd be daft to turn down half that money if it was guaranteed.

Not many PL clubs go for "Luxury" players. To have success at the top level you need a team to have players pulling in the same direction. It is no good if other players does the running for a lazy but skilful player.

Cant remember where exactly but on here someone has put the stats in which his distance covered and attempted presses were both in the very top percentages in the league.
