I don’t need to pretend !!It’s amazing what you can get away with pretending to be a silly old duffer. I like looking up short skirts going up the escalator, and that’s just the blokes.![]()

They'd be easy enough to protect. Stick em behind perspex but with a hole to collect the beer and to place your card. Simple enough.I am no expert, but offering food and drinks pre match seems to make sense, but trying to do it at half time doesn’t. It would also stop the dozens of people who block the view as we run up to half time.
I would go along with your vending machine if I could trust all fans not to vandalise them.
Both make valid points.
It’s a bit of a pity because I’d really have loved us to have been able to average 30k in the second tier. That would have been a superb achievement by the fans.
Maybe a pipe dream. We’d need 690,000 fans over 23 games. So far we’ve had 403,676 for 14 games. We’d need an average of 31,813 to achieve this now. We’d need 30,536 over the next 9 to average 29,500 and 29,258 to average 29,000.
Current capacity stands at 32,050 so with restrictions and restricted views I’d imagine the Hull game wasn’t far off being classed as a well out these days.
It’s a real shame some parts of the ground were built cheaply that we even have restricted view tickets. Hope there is a way to resolve this over time.
Anyway, I’m terms of turn out, our support has been tremendous this season.
Well if your view is restricted , you may as well have a kip. The atmosphere is quiet enoughKip restrictions and restricted views aren’t different things.,

I’d need to refer to Ricky/Herbert/Carruthers/Chronic for any singing section queriesIt’s those singers who should be in BLUT !
no they only sold tickets for the bottom half and taped the rest off. UTBWere people not allowed to sit at the top? Was it taped off
Sounds like a lot of people who normally went on the kop might have gone on the SS. Did the kop 'sell out'?
Enjoyed it last night on the Kop. No problems getting in. No queues for food/drink. Plenty of room in the toilets. We had a singing and standing section just behind us meaning more were joining in with the songs. Add in a biased ref which galvanised us and we were all jumping up and hugging people we don't usually sit with when the second and third goals went in. The rendition of you've seen United now fck off home was particularly loud in this sectionI thought the kop looked better last night for a lower crowd. Having everyone on the bottom/middle bit instead of spaced out allover. Even some standing up on middle row(made ground look fuller too)
What will happen for the Spurs game? Still restrictions?
Have they specified what the issue is? Given the reduced capacity is the issue still overcrowding in specific areas of the Kop or just the general issue of people not sitting in their allocated seats?UPDATE FOLLOWING FURTHER MONITORING AND CONVERSATIONS:
Think there will be more communication this week, but in essence, for at least Swansea and Middlesbrough:
- There will be enhanced ticket checking on the Kop for games going forward, we would request that supporters arrive in plenty of time to enable this process and to occupy the seat aligned with your season ticket
- We are repositioning our CCTV cameras in an attempt to highlight those not occupying their seat and potentially pick out those who will not comply with ground regulations
- The club is losing around £30,000 per game by not selling match tickets on the Kop (this is variable with ticket prices for varying for category of games)
- The club has received further communication from Sheffield Council praising our efforts so far but concerned that we are not getting the correct results. Council officers together with representatives of the Sports Grounds Safety Authority have been in attendance in recent games as we have taken time to monitor if our previous efforts have been successful
- The Council, as the certifying authority, could look to other enforcement alternatives.
They'll have created another issue if the original one was sorted, they're probably just coming up with what it is now.Have they specified what the issue is? Given the reduced capacity is the issue still overcrowding in specific areas of the Kop or just the general issue of people not sitting in their allocated seats?

Won’t be getting full capacity back anytime this season then if a complete elimination of everyone not sitting in their allocated seats is the aimThat I'd guess

You'd assume that if people would just stay out of the aisle it'd be fine. But no, Cunts 'r' Us are still out in forceWon’t be getting full capacity back anytime this season then if a complete elimination of everyone not sitting in their allocated seats is the aim
It's not an acceptable situation, but are we the ONLY club in the Football League that has this problem and have a reduced Kop capacity ?It will be the crowding of the gangways at the back, people still standing in the isle.
