Sure I heard it on Sky Sports earlier that he's not scored in something like 10 games before his hat trick today.Ended the season with an excellent hat trick

Thanks for the info and congrats on your promotionRumours you're showing interest.
He's been unlucky this season, Frank has preferred Haji Wright but Simms has done very well every time he's played.
Today he was fucking outstanding. One of the best number 9 performances I can remember. Wonderful hatrick.
What sort of fee would he command ?Rumours you're showing interest.

I know our chairman was talking to Doug after our game at lane this season wouldn’t suprise me if you lot tried getting Gus for cash plus Simms
Why would it need to be above £8m? He’s got a year left in his original deal. From an accounting perspective, anything above £4.25m (assuming a £3m promotion clause) gives you a profit. We have likely just paid the promotion fee on him which takes the final cost to £8m. So it would need to be north of that.
I'd imagine a parachute side or Wrexham/Birmingham being willing to pay that.
Are we rumoured to be in for him? Or is it hear say?We have likely just paid the promotion fee on him which takes the final cost to £8m. So it would need to be north of that.

Yeah right. Just because his team won the league doesn’t make him suddenly worth x times more.Good point although anything below £6m and I think we'd look to keep him.
I think there will be a bidding war. He's got a goal per 125 minutes this season, has an FA Cup semi final, Play Off semi final and is a Champions winner this year. He would be an excellent signing for anyone in the division.
He might have a say in that. If he doesn’t see himself getting a lot of minutes in the PL he might well force a move. The player has far more power than the club in those situations.Good point although anything below £6m and I think we'd look to keep him.
I wouldn't say it would be a good move for all parties, we would be loosing our most creative player and the one player who is capable of scoring out of nothing.Swap deal for Hamer maybe?
Might make sense given Hamer's age and the fact that he's on his last year. Coventry links might also help if he wants to go back.
As disappointing to lose Hamer would be, it could be a good move for all parties as we would be getting someone at a good age who can directly improve our front line in return.
Yes but does he show "Pashun"He doesn't smile enough or run enough for United fans to like him
Can he carry culture though? He doesn't smile enough or run enough for United fans to like him
Do swap deals ever really happen? Or are they fan fiction nowadays like pay as you play contracts?Swap deal for Hamer maybe?
