Only in the premier League. They can in the cup.No, loan players can't play against their own club.
Of course they would, surely they would want every opportunity to try to impress the City manager!I think they can play against their parent club in the Cup, but would they want to? UTB.
WTF does he know in the interview I saw he didn't say he couldn't play.Doyle has said in his after match interview that he can't play against Man City
Only in the premier League. They can in the cup.
Or he's referring to the bit about loan players not playing against parent clubs which everyone has heard about, without necessarily knowing that it's down to parent clubs discretion in a cup competition?Doyle seemed to suggest in his post match interview that he wouldn't be able to play against City, so presumably there's something in their loan agreements that says they can't?
Rules of the FA cup;Or he's referring to the bit about loan players not playing against parent clubs which everyone has heard about, without necessarily knowing that it's down to parent clubs discretion in a cup competition?

Well now I've no ideaCan I ask where you got that from?
The version I found is different:
"(iv) The Association will not give permission for players on loan or work experience to play against the lending Club."
