I've got my tickets and would love to stuff them big style. It took them 90 odd years to do the double, to get it back the next season would be brill.
If however i had the choice to keep the pigs up and that shower of west yorkshire shite down, keep that scum down and out forever.
 
Oh God Yes. The only thing I hate more than them are the bloody derbies. I'd happily chop my left hand off if it meant never suffering through one again.

I want them down because my other half is a Pig and it'd mean she wouldn't renew ... More money for my new car!

Seriously, they're in big trouble. Their two home games which they realistically need six points from are games they should win BUT there are other circumstances working against them. We know how much last day games cause form to fly out of the window. How many times would Wigan have won at the Lane under normal circumstances? And the other one is United - a United with nothing to lose and 6000 fans in the Sty wanting some payback for a disappointing season. The United players will be more relaxed and it could be disastrous for the Wendies. So they need away points: Boro and Cardiff. Oh dear.

They need six points at home - and I can't see them taking all six. I don't think three or four is enough for them so they could need a massive shock result away from home.
 
Overall I really want to see them relegated this season. However whilst we will probably continue to strive for mid-table obscurity next season they could have a shot at promotion and we would continue to hear squeals of delight from that side of the city.

Here's hoping that relegation leads to Administration and a couple of seasons breathing space to get our act together.

The problem is though is our team is full of loanees, so although these players are, and i use the term loosely 'Pros' i just cant see them turning up & i think the pigs will sneak a win.
Also we will have nothing to play for, were as the pigs will be scrapping for their lives!
 
I would like to say no and to encourage we concentrate more on our own situation but considering the fact that we are in championship limbo, coupled with the fact that it would be hilarious if they did go back down................

A resounding YES from me. We'll never play you again.....We'll never play you again.....aaaaagain!

It is a big yes from me!

I am not one of these United fans who utterly despises Wednesday. It doesn't make me ecstatic to see them lose. I actually hate Liverpool fc more than the pigs. That said I don't like them of course. The point I'm trying to make is that I try to concentrate on United. If we are drawing and they are losing then I'm not happy. We come first and their results offer little conslation for me. I can remember one time in the late 90's when we were drawing 0-0 at home and Wednesday were getting hammered by Man U. Man U put a 5th in and the Kop was going mad. We were stilll drawing and the kop celebrated like a United goal when Man U went 5 nil up. It doesn't mean that much to me. Sure it was nice, but I'd sooner have seen them win 6-5 if it meant we'd win (rather than them get tonked and we draw).

All this said I want them to go down. Just to see the look on their ugly mugs. I didn't go to Stamford bridge in 94, but my friend told me that there was thousands of pig fans waiting at the Lane to taunt us when the coaches arrived back. I'm sure this is common and we do the same (but it still grates). The other factor is that I'm sick of Sheffield United being seen as the 'smaller' club. I live in London and when I say I'm a Blade many say things like 'it must be tough being in Wednesday's shadow' and bollocks like that. Most of the time it's a wind up, but there is no smoke without fire. A final reason is for all the Blades living in Sheff and working with pig fans. Before I left South Yorks I learnt how hard it was to take stick from Piggy fans when they'd stufed us. On the other foot it was great to wind them up when we beat them. Hence, for the banter, it would also be great to see them go down.
 
If all the results go against the pigs this weekend and they suffer heavily at boro followed by results going against them again the following weekend and the unthinkable happening of us beating them then they could be 6 points off safety and relegated on the Tuesday night if Watford and Scunthorpe do the business.

Its all ifs tho!
 
Yeah, we can't actually send them down but there is a chance that we can push them right to the edge of the trapdoor at the Sty.

I can understand the reason why people in and around the City hate each other there is a clear division. But as I live near Donny I have to put up with more 'SCUM' and born again 'ZIGGER-ZAGGERS' than 'PIGS', I am ambivoulent towards the 'SWINE'.
Incidentally if you ask a shirt wearing 'ZIGGER-ZAGGER' to jump up and down enough the red or blue hoops fall off the shirt revealing a plain white one, with some handily placed velcro badges 'INSTANT SCUM SHIRT'.
 
i have a few mates here who are wednesday fans, and how they gloated when we didnt go up last year, would be lovely to gloat back at them this year!
 
A while ago I would have said that I couldn't a monkeys what they were doing as long as we were ok and and beat them in our fair share of derby games.

Now though, with Strafford in charge I would like nothing more than to see them run into the ground! I just can't stand the man, with his constant playing of the media and his "look at me, LOOK AT ME...I am the 2nd Coming" attitude. Before I could take or leave the pigs in whatever division they wallowed in, but now I'd like to see them succesively relegated, skint and with crushed dreams of American investment just to see that fat gobshite put in his place.
 



Speaking of investment, Geoffrey Sheard anyone? :D ha ha
