Do you want the pigs go down?

It's impossible to say anything else than to wish the pork to have to be a division below United. It doesn't mean that our own bed is nice and rosy, but it would certainly be a damn sight better than theirs, should they drop.

Which would be nice.

Let's face it, if the pigs did go down, they'd probably 'Do a Leeds/Norwich' etc. i.e. knock over crap teams on a weekly basis, look like they'll get promotion and get even more coverage in the Star and RS than they already do. Crowds would increase and that liar Strafford would twist his bullshit to 'If we get promotion, we're definitely getting investment...'

Yes, I'd love the pigs to go down, but don't think it would shut the smug porkers up.

Given that all the luck in Sheffield goes to Sheffield 6, whilst I would wet myself laughing if they got relegated, I know it won't happen. They are just too lucky.
Scummy pig bast***s. They will just sneak out of trouble as they have done for the last couple of years. Pity!!
UTB

Im not really bothered what division they're in. Ideally United and Wednesday would be competing in the premier league but it's not going to happen any time soon.

In quieter moments I sometimes imagine a few years down the line, when Wednesday's real local rivalry has become Stocksbridge Park Steels, as they slug it out with Halifax, Scarborough, Boston United, Bradford Park Avenue & the rest...........

I want them down and out of business.
I know some disagree but the simple equation for me is the weaker Wednesday are the stronger United will be.
Sheffield United as the only team in the city (presuming the others have buggered off) can only be good for us.

This. Anything else is utter madness. I loathe Derby day, I hate playing them. I hate the fact that they are even close to us. Down and out of business please.

I voted this afternoon but I will categorically state for the record, that I would like Sheffield Wednesday to be playing in the third tier of English football next season.

Along with Leeds.

Mwahahaha.

A big 'yes' from me. Again from the viewpoint of low-slung pork being good for the Blades. If they did ever drop out of existence, within a generation we would need the McCabe sparkly new development just to get all the home fans in, and we might actually start the think 'big' (Ok, the last one was induced by a combination of brandy and cough syrup, but the rest is plausible) :D
