If he's fit and doesn't want shitloads of cash to buy new alloys, then yes, otherwise no.
But given that i don't know his fitness, or how much he wants i can't really say yes. Or no.![]()

Time for a Swiss Tony moment:
BT in this division is like buying a vintage champagne on the first date with a bird from Carlisle.
You know that you've a fair chance of getting in her knickers, but do you push the boat out and go for the good stuff, knowing full well that you'll get a 100% guaranteed shag just because its expense.
Or do you take her to Yates' get a cheap bottle of Spumante and hope that she'll put out just because she's pissed.
depends if this quick young winger is lets say post injury Jamie Ward, he's still quick and young and would probably take 6k
He was amongst the fittest players at the club, despite being on a huge wage his attitude was quality, and he was well liked amongst the players, supporters and management. Sometimes footballers just click at a certian club, and i think this is one such example.
Yes they are but we wont get Phillips Clarke and Grabban for the same as Beattie. But he never was really quick was he? I'd bet a lot of money on Phillips to beat him comfortably over any sprint distance. We really love a departed hero don't we? Let's drag 'Cotts' off whatever bench he's sitting on and bring him back as well, shall we?
If, hypothetically, we could get Phillips, Clarke and Grabban for the price of a Beattie the arguments (as opposed to the sentimentality) are all one way, aren't they?
Pace is good but skill is better.
Yes but what good is a pacey winger if he cant cross or pass a ball?11 Kevin McDonalds would see us relegated to the fourth division, as would 11 Luton Sheltons.
Skill, pace, height, strength, creativity, fitness, work rate. We need them all, and as we can't afford "complete" players, we should try to build a team and squad that gives us a bit of everything. With a limited budget it would be a good idea to add qualities that we currently lack, and preferably go for young players that can get better.
