Did he handle outside the area for those who were closer? Couldn't tell from the Kop, looked like he did though.

We were in the family stand and would've had a good view, but he rolled over so neither the Lino or us could see, he did appear to release the ball before sliding out

Sat in the Westfield Stand, and from our point of view it looked like he slid out of the area still holding it, but released it pdq. Lino had no chance of seeing it though. I am not 100% sure, but HB Jnr (a goalkeeper himself) is pretty sure he got away with one today.

I was on the Westfield stand with a great view. Howard dealt with it well. He was holding onto the ball until he slid out of the box, as soon as he went over the line he let go of the ball and pushed the ball clear with his head. Quality.

From the kop it looked like he was lucky, looked like handball to me.

From where I was sat it looked like he slid out of the area with it, let go quickly, then handled it again as their player got close. Very lucky in my view.

On the whole though, I felt a lot more comfortable with him in the net than Turner.

It doesn't really matter what we think, the linesman who had the best view said he didn't, end of.......:)
Neither does it matter whether we think Clough is shit or that Basham is a midfielder or if JCR should be out on loan or not because we're not decision makers. But unless Jim, Sela, KM and HRH sign up to the forum there wouldn't be much going here would there.

Sat in the family stand, it happened right in front of us. General consensus from a few of us is, he was very lucky not to get sent off.

Isn't a handball from the keeper when it could be deemed as accidental ( his momentum took him outside the box) just a yellow card ?

From my position in the John Street Stand) I thought he had released the ball in the area as he twisted his body to ensure this. His body was outside the box but it looked like the ball hit his chest outside and not his hands.

If that's what happened that's quick thinking. We are right at the other end of the ground but from the lack of objections and/or sanctions we figured he must have dealt with it somehow.

He's manged that really well.
