I'd pulled out a previously landscaped garden including mature trees, filled 80 sacks of stones, poured in a couple of tonnes of quality soil, leveled and seeded it within 5-10 days.

You know what United are like at contract negotiations. The Desso boys are on a day rate.

Nah, they'll wait until the pitch is down nice and smooth then drive a digger across with a cherry picker on it to do the sign, doh!

Hang on - the best news would be that the Redbrik logo actually DOES exist on the stand but the club have got the dates on the grass growing video muddled up, were that the case, then there might be more hope that it'll be ready for the friendlies....?

Another thing, why don't they grow daisies in lines on the pitch instead of painting them on?

Looks like concrete, tarmac, rubber and Cork, with a thin layer of astro turf. The balls going to bounce a bit this season.....

I should add I have played on a desso pitch...it's absolutely no different to a conventional grass one in terms of bounce, roll etc
