You mean like;Lets stop all the talk and go get this lad.
Ticks all the boxes and some.
And surely we dont 'spunk' money on a winger.29 appearances for Leicester last season suggests they see him as a regular squad player. would be a fantastic signing but i can't see them letting him go....and surely they would be looking for £20m plus.....
Have we started playing with wingers?
High wage demands - TickWhat boxes?
There are good reasons why he does not start many games for Leicester, will never be the player he thinks he is.

speed, goals, speed, skill, speed, can drop a shoulder, speed, young and onWhat boxes?
And a wingerspeed, goals, speed, skill, speed, can drop a shoulder, speed, young and on
So was Thierry Henry when he arrived at Arsenal, just sayingAnd a winger
And because they bankrupt themselves to ditch their debt they could afford silly wages. Shame their local business suppliers became their creditors.and surely they would be looking for £20m plus.....
The point I’m making is that just because someone has been a winger all his career doesn’t mean he won’t turn into a successful striker. If he has the skill set to score goals then he can be converted. The ruling out of people solely using this narrative is potentially short sighted. That doesn't mean every winger can play as a striker
Demarai Gray is an out and out winger
I agree, but Demarai Gray is definitely a winger. And that's who was suggested. The point I’m making is that just because someone has been a winger all his career doesn’t mean he won’t turn into a successful striker. Basham and Jagielka were midfielders converted to successful centre backs, going back there were loads of examples of players developing into new positions very successfully. Dion Dublin was a CB who converted to a striker.
Now say he’s too expensive on too much money for our wage structure not got the skill set to play a different position fair enough but this obsession with pigeon holing players into just one position in itself with no other reasons, not so fair enough in my opinion.
I’d take him every day as a winger
Could play up front though he’s rapidooo
We need a plan b, instead of banging it up to Oli, or banging it into channels.I like him as a player as well but when was the last time Utd played with wingers FB?
Playing him up front would likely be a case of square peg, round hole

Just a different option to come on with some pace, with moose being injured.Surely the plan b should be reverting to a diamond or 3-4-1-2. Not sure how Gray would fit either of those.
