You are somebody I need to speak to! I was going to head down to the Sentinel pre-match but got held up. Had a couple of people since saying they (and I quote) "couldn't see any sign of any Blades book on sale?" Did you find this to be the case? Was it easy enough to find/buy it?

Just saw one A4 sheet on the outside windows. I knew from on here they were on sale there so asked behind the bar. HTH

Thanks for that. Might see what I can do about getting a wee gazebo and a pasting table outside for future games.

Got mine Other day thanks to Steve and the team,

Warning

rule one: don't sup too many beers before reading
rule two: see rule one and don't read it on a balcony laid on a bench whilst doing rule 1
rule three: see 1 & 2 and make your first floor balcony railings are of a solid nature. :D:eek::eek:

haha - snorted out loud at work the though of a 'wee gazebo'. It was worth it.
 
Noticed the piece in Now Then about the fanzine.

One idea, have you tried La Biblioteka on Pinstone Street, about stocking it? They have a massive range of mags and publications, included a few football ones like Mundial; so may be willing to take a few off your hands.

2 less copies at the Sentinel.

The Sheaf View would be a good place for sales, loads of Blades pre/post match and no need for a gazebo as they have indoor toilets...;)

I'll sound them out.

Cremorne on London road would be good also but I don't know anyone there.

The Sheaf would be a good idea. As would Cremorne (I often drink there) but the interest isn't there on the latter, but I should put a word in at the Sheaf. More than happy for you to sound them out. Thanks mate.

Hiya mate. It’s via PayPal but you don’t need a PayPal account to pay, it’s just a case of entering your bank details. If you have any trouble shout up and can show you screenshots.
 
Got my copy in the post yesterday, it looks great! Really nicely packaged and print quality is excellent, I'm looking forward to reading through it properly.

My only criticism would be that the pixelated illustrations let it down a bit but other than that, great job!

Thank you very much for your kind words. Great to get all feedback and we will certainly take it on board.

Am I right in thinking you're talking about the back page illustration? Or the red-washed designs inside? On the former: we hear you, it was my bad, I placed the wrong sized image in the final proof and would've been a week's delay to amend it. On the latter: that is the design intended, as a rough, ready almost scrapbook feel.

Seeing as you're designblade, fancy doing some designing for the 2019 edition?

Yeah, it was the one on the back page I was referring to. I like the style of the red halftone images, they work really well!

I'd be more than happy to contribute to the next issue, send me a PM and we can discuss!
