Whatever the board and the club decide is happening over the coming months must happen swiftly. We haven't got time for a manager to "heal himself" getting bolloxed int Banner for 3 weeks.

If the board are pulling the trigger we need to do it now.

We also need to hit the ground running on transfers and get the bulk of squad signed for pre season so they can get fit.

If the likes of Hamer and Souzza indicate they are leaving get shut down and don't fuck about making derisory wage offers ala Illiman.

Need to get the unfit players like Campbell up to speed so they can play a full football match.

All this needs to start now.

Leeds United are a good example of how to manage a play off defeat, no excuses go up as champions

Also the fan group trying to get an atmosphere going should be encouraged, Wembley was the quietest I've ever heard our fans.

It would have to go a long way to beat last summers chaos.

We’ve finished the season late, but no doubt will have been prepared for all scenarios.

The manager will be ready, I’m sure. He faced a very tough summer last year.

I believe we also save a significant payment to the prince for not going up.

Was that a one season thing?

Blame that on our media team. The vid introduction of theirs had their team songs blasting out and that got their fans singing. We missed a trick and didn’t included GCB.

I'm pretty envious of the Palace atmosphere the previous week, that was amazing.

I agree that we need to be on it with our signings, every window we wait till the end ie defence last window, ended up with an unfit replacement that wilder clearly didn’t fancy, get the players in that we want /need and not wait to the end in the hope we get another bargain in, get rid of players who will go regardless and move on from bringing back the old dead wood we’ve already got rid of or have come to the end of their contract

Palace got the right people in the right place. Most the fans in our standing area showed no interest in making noise. Wembley creating that section with an explicit 'go here if you want to sing!' message should have sorted it to a large extent but obviously not, at least for us
