Decent boozer in MK??

I've ended up drinking in the ground before. There doesn't seem to be anything in the plastic city that is Milton Keynes.

Unless anybody can recommend anything?

The Swan @ Fenny Stratford is good - welcomes away supporters good beers and food just 10 mins walk from the ground !

mattbianco1 we went to the Red Lion at Fenny Stratford for the ill-fated game in 2012. Decent little pub on the canal and as Fiery says, it's a 10 minute walk through the new-build wastelands to the stadium.

Whilst you are correct that there are some very good watering holes in Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes and especially Bletchley / Fenny Stratford do have some good pubs - Why is it that some people are so blinkered ! Having lived in both Milton Keynes area ( eighteen years plus) and Sheffield /Rotherham area ( forty odd years) I can assure you that your comments a very wide of the mark !
