I have been one of young Henderson's biggest critics this season, when his mistakes have cost us points. (Stoke Leeds Villa). i have taken some flack on this forum as a result.
Therefore its only fair to give the lad props when he deserves them. Yesterday when it was 1-0 and the nerves were kicking in and Forest had that spell for 10 minutes where we were looking like doing a Millwall again, young Hendo at least 3 times came off his line with purpose and took control around 6 to 8 yards out,
2 catches and one punch and the danger was gone
THAT IS EXACTLY what i want to see from our keeper , dominating the 6 yard box and especially when we are rocking under pressure and need to regain control to get up the other end. So well done lad yesterday, we will need more of that big bold presence in these last 3 games. If the defence and outfield players see him coming, being big and dominating the confidence will spread forward to the others. That is as vital as keeping the ball in the corner as the last few seconds ebb away
