Our own fault for letting him go cheap, most of us knew he was worth way more
Him going "cheap" give Wilder the funds to get us promoted!

Brooks return to United not out the question as Wilder remains keen
The Blades boss is a huge fan of the midfielder and would love him back at Bramall Lanewww.examinerlive.co.uk
Nathan's changed his tune
As far as I'm concerned, no news is good news on this lad. Simply put we don't want anyone else making an offer for him this week. I'm sure we have asked, or will ask the question to Bournemouth quietly later in the week.
No way he'd rather play for Bournemouth in the Championship, than rejoin us in the Prem.
Simple as that.
N.B. We can scrape together the first annual installment/loan fee for a top player.
You honestly think we'll struggle this season CaptainM ? Personally, i think we'll be ok (providing the signings Wilder wants the board makes sure are brought in.. Probably our most important transfer window EVER imo. The way im looking at it at the moment is that we've been no where near full tilt yet and had it not been for either bad luck/bad finishing or abysmal refereeing decisions we would have got some points on the board. We havent though, yet. Im surely things will pick up. Bad results the first few games off the seasom havent been a rare occurance under Wilder so im thknking it might be worth holding tight because if history is anything to go by we should be about to take off. Fingers crossed anyway palI actually think he'd benefit more from having a run of games with Bournemouth in the Championship (who should be attacking that division) rather than joining another relegation battle with us, where he may struggle to showcase his skills & put himself in the shop window to the big boys.
See my post in the Rodon thread and it appears we are of a like mind, there is enough doom and gloom with Covid let’s be positive! You honestly think we'll struggle this season CaptainM ? Ridiculous. No offence, but even you can't believe that.I actually think he'd benefit more from having a run of games with Bournemouth in the Championship (who should be attacking that division) rather than joining another relegation battle with us, where he may struggle to showcase his skills & put himself in the shop window to the big boys.
Spot on bertie mate. Once the ball starts rolling we'll be fine i reckon. Got full faith in CWAK and this team. Cant be understated though how important thjs transfer window is. Even more so now with Joc out long term. Really hope the board push the boat out a little here. Theyve got to realise that Chris wouldnt over spend on any player. Like he once said, he treats the clubs money as if it were his own. Theres no way he'd risk hurting the club. He's the absolute opposite of 'reckless', he must be most Chairman's dream manager in that respect. Because of this im of the opinion that basically, any player that CW wants should be brought inSee my post in the Rodon thread and it appears we are of a like mind, there is enough doom and gloom with Covid let’s be positive!
I think quite a lot thought £11m was a decent price for a kid who had only played a handful of games, and just had a nasty disease which can take years to cure sometimes. Our own fault for letting him go cheap, most of us knew he was worth way more

Hopefully it's Beattie fluBrooks has picked up an injury and returned to Bournemouth from the welsh teams training camp.
Could not make it up, that’s that transfer off
Defo could point towards good signs, how many players magically become injured very shortly before they get transfered to another team.Hopefully it's Beattie flu

Loan deal only according to this source....would make the most logical sense!
That does make complete sense to be fair, if true. And those circumstances would surely make us favourites.Loan deal only according to this source....would make the most logical sense!
Brooks will have told Bournemouth he wants to leave, so they'd be holding him against his will.
There's not even a parallel universe in which anyone pays £50m to a relegated team for a player.
We can give Brooks a gentleman's agreement or a contractual clause that says he could go to a top 6 team if they meet his value next summer or whenever.
