..bit of a fallacy that line IMO, ..most everyone knows the ballpark figure for Brooks, even if it’s a couple or so million out, they know we’re about to receive a fair ol’ wedge...just as last year with the £7 million (?) Harry/Kyle dosh. ( almost as much as the Brooks fee)

I think most clubs will set a price they'd Like to receive/accept for a player (us with Brooks) then it’s just a case of nerve/desperation whether you can stick to that figure...look at our chase for Leonard as an example.
