I noticed that, but he did get injured last week - if Blackburn are standing firm on their ludicrous £5m valuation, i feel like this one simply isn't going to happen, and for that price, i don't think i'd want it to personally.
 

Done a bit of digging on this lad.

Blackburn fan I know through a relative says he's all action, an aggressive tackler, room to improve in terms of positional sense but does have decent pace and can pick a pass out.

Reckoned his long diagonal cross field passes are a thing of beauty.

Wilder said he was focussed on lifting the players and too annoyed with the officials to discuss anything else, so Buchan said 'shall I ask you on Monday them' to which he agreed. So I don't expect any significant update, just a clearer head to discuss it.

I think we learnt from that 1st half on Saturday, espically as we were getting battered aerially by gestede. that we need to further improve our defence

Every team will get battered in the air by gestede, if the service is right he will score loads in this division. I thought apart from the goal we handled him pretty well.
 

the defense has been a surprise to me so far, think we have looked solid. From there on the problems start.

Boro we looked shaky in the first half, but rather solid in the second (albeit they never attacked).

What has surprised me (and I didn't think we'd be susceptible to it with our style of play in this division) is how we're beaten by the long ball over the top all too often.

I don't know it's that surprising if I'm honest.

None of our defenders are properly quick and we are playing against the pace of the likes of assamgobalomba, hoillet, zahore, jota etc. These players are a massive step up than some of the players we faced last year.

Think it's not a lack or organisation I think we are just facing players who are quicker physically and mentally and better in everything they do - we're far from the best defence in the league.

I agree, hence I don't know why we're shoving so far up, it just exposes us.

Complete opposite to what we have at the other end too :-(

Because if we sat back and invited them on all game they'd probably beat us anyway.
