Sorry, that one small singular fact of our manager confirming his number one target throughout the summer has been signed.A singular 'fact'. Not 'facts'.

Do you believe Chris when he says there's 'nothing in it' when responding to Radio Sheffield, then signing the same player a week later?Sorry, that one small singular fact of our manager confirming his number one target throughout the summer has been signed.
Maybe conjecture but a very reasonable one at that if you ask me.
I happen to think despite what Wilder said in a post signing interview Leonard and Holmes were his main targets this summer. Judging on how early we started and the saga that has ensued since I think it's likely.
My opinion I must add but I certainly don't think a manager telling a mistruth is earth shattering stuff.
We didn't have a spare room so that's yet another presumption you have wrong.Do you believe Chris when he says there's 'nothing in it' when responding to Radio Sheffield, then signing the same player a week later?
Managers tell mistruths in interviews. The tooth fairy isn't real. Your mum and dad used to hide your presents in the spare bedroom and take them down on Christmas Eve night.

You've took the mantle of forum bellend in your stride to be fair. Oh, and forum telltale.
Haven't you seen the constant interviews from their side? There hasn't been any saga other than the one created on here
The amount of times you mention foxy is quite astounding. But funny to watch at the same time. The first remark is water off a rhino's back. The second is baffling. Do elaborate...
In honesty I'm with a few on here.
I interpreted his No1 target to be by position rather than player. His number one target was a centre half, rather than Stearman.
Could be wrong mind.

I've never actually seen the interview with Wilder where he announces Stearman was our number one target but would you find it unreasonable to think maybe a centre half was our number one target, not just Richard Stearman?Yes, I think your opinion is perfectly reasonable.
I worry that you're falling down the trap of using your (fairly logical) assumption, as the centre to your whole argument.
And as for judging which of our targets are priorities based on how long the sagas have gone on: don't.
They are merely just more publicised than other targets, there's no reason to think that they're priorities based on that.
From our official website pal.I'm going on his radio interview... if that's a genuine quote and not the usual media misquote, then I'm mistaken.

Can't argue with that thenFrom our official website pal.

So you dismiss a fact you've never actually sought to confirm or even consider?!I've never actually seen the interview with Wilder where he announces Stearman was our number one target but would you find it unreasonable to think maybe a centre half was our number one target, not just Richard Stearman?
Not it wasn't. "Richard was our number one target" - pretty simple. That's exactly what was implied, in the interview he said centre back was his priority, not specifically Stearman.
Yeah - the experience is vital too especially for our defence. Can't argue with that then
I like the added height to the team...didn't actually realise how tall he was.
Can you all swap phone numbers and argue with each other over text or something....f*ck me. We might have a chance of having an interesting forum that way instead of handbags from behind a keyboard on EVERY F*CKING THREAD!
Having posted 30 times in 2 and a half years, you're hardly the contributor!
The amount of times you mention foxy is quite astounding. But funny to watch at the same time.
No, I like reading mainly. However every single thread is someone arguing with someone else over 20 pages now so the good stuff gets lost.
Coutts and Fleck ARE going to run it like last year. They will prove to be amongst the best CM pairs in the division.Leonard is a more box to box, athletic type than we have. Would allow us to change things up, scores a few goals and can put a foot in. Don't be deluded and think Coutts and Fleck are going to run it like they did last year.
Lenihan at 5mil may be steep but the Venkys have a track record of getting what they want. See The sales of Cairney, Rhodes, Gestede, Duffy and Hanley for proof of that.
So you're suggesting we don't trust our manager but you think we'd better off missing out on his main targets? Brilliant logic that mate.
This thread is quite tame tbf.

It might, at times, mean sacrificing a player in the Duffy type role for a genuine DM to bolster the middle of the park.
But I'll stand by my ascertion as regards our 2 middy maestros.
