This is my 1st post. Everyone calling for dannys head wants to get real. I don't want the likes of Hill,tango man or people like these at my club. We have no chance getting such as Adkins,WE HAVE NO MONEY. Danny is a great guy and doing the best he can with little support from the fans or directors. Most fans were waiting for us to have a bad run just to say I told you so, an ex pig would not work. It's time the players took a good look at themselves and manned up. Also all you fans that say Danny doesn't have a go at players during match are totally wrong. I sit 5 rows behind dugout and can hear him shouting all the time at players. Just because he doesn't wave his arms about like a pillock doesn't mean he is not passionate about this job

We all want him to suceed,but in the black comedy of it all-if he fails,we all will point,laugh at the bloke and say `fuck off ya c@@t,we always knew we`d end up in the shit under you`.
Its just how long,as a bloke,you can put up with the flack.
Personally,i dont think DW is the direct problem-weve players who think they are on a winning team without kicking a ball-Doyle,dire-K.mac,doesnt look interested-flynn,one good game every ten,harry-same as flynn,kitson-playing for his pension.
United need a new leader on the pitch with some hunger and desire to win.
I`d drop doyle to be honest,and see if results improve.

Doyle should be dropped, not performing for me but neither is flynn or blackman. How we miss Collins and Hill and who would have thought that. Let's just get behind them all. These will be back soon and so will JF. Just because we have the highest attendances in this division and possibly the highest wage bill does not give us the devine right to be top of the table

Negative blades again. No wonder the players are scared of playing at bramall lane with fans like we have. I still feel we should get behind them and Danny. Changing the manager may have worked for pigs but we all know what luck we have NONE, so I say stick with what we have got

Scared of playing football?why?getting cheered and getting jeered are part and parcel of the game.
If a blades player cant get up for a game in front 18`000 fans at home then they should take up lawn darts.
And another thing,if you cant get up for a game of football, take home upward of 5k a week and still play like muppets then your not fit to wear the shirt.and they are still our heroes?

We really are getting sick to death of hearing this lame excuse of "it's the fans fault" blah blah blah, what next the pitch ? ...........................oh Danny did that one last week, injuries to key players ? .............................. that one has been done too, how about the common denominators Kevin McCabe and his yes man Danny Wilson ???

They will always be out heroes win or lose. That's what true fans support. We have the right to moan and complain but in the end we support them through good and bad. At lane we are on their backs as soon as there's a misplaced pass or mistake. Look at George last week, his 1st major mistake and there are knobs booing him.He's 18 for gods sake and we have fans wanting us to play more youngsters. Treatment like that could knock their confidence before they've even kicked a ball. The players may get paid decent money buy they r only human and if they know what reception their going to get by cocking up would be enough to get the nerves younger and

I want him to stop to the end of the season atleast if we don't go up or don't even make the playoff finals then it will be time to thank him for what he has done for the club but then move on and see if a new manager will take us over the final hurdle

if i were manager, and its probably a good job im not, first thing monday id scout round on the phone trying to find teams who want to sign mcdonald and doyle. then spend the rest of the day getting in 2 or 3 replacements for the same money. players with quality and leadership. for whatever reason, theyve both done sod all between em all season.

So another wasted season before people realise it's not working. Start again in August and repeat the disappointment of this season and last. Except:
Probably no Long and Maguire (we need to sell as we've no money*)
Crowds down to 15k with the occasional 12k on a cold winters evening.
(* This really pisses me off. It's like listening to Cameron & Clegg. Who in our division does have money? Maybe Bournemouth, but that's it. Our vastly-superior crowds mean this argument is false.)
It has become a self-fulfilling prophecy - crap managerial appointments mean we have gone utterly backwards since 2009. Don't knock the crowd - there the only asset we have left.
So the hair-trigger approach to managers that (some) foreign owners use. Or the head-in-the-sand, 'be reight', sit-on-hands method some on here would advocate. You decide. I already have.

It's alll about putting a shift in. Danny and the players aren't, this is evidenced by the performances v Hartlepool, Donny, Yeovil and yesterday. Not to mention distinctly average performances for the majority of the season.
The fans put a shift in by turning up week in week out. Over 3k of us at County yesterday made up nearly half the overall attendance. We average 18-20k at home, compare that to most in the championship.
We are doing our bit but the players and manager are falling woefully short on their side.

Those useless cretins are our heroes? Not for me. Aren't heroes supposed to be filled with passion and fight to succeed? A dog turd is more of a hero than our players.

Hill ? Arguably our best defender this season and you don't want him at the club...bizarre.
The major issues are in centre midfield at the moment.

Everyone can see there is a lack of motivation and certain players are just on the pitch for a ride. If we don't have the stomach (or money) for a change of manager, why not have a change of captain. We didn't seem to have a motivation problem on the field when Morgs was the captain. My suggestion would be Danny Higgingbotham. He has superior footballing experience to our existing captain and he seems to have the same "tough guy" approach as Morgs.
Going on to Doyle, I think that it is time to replace him as a player too, either with a new signing or one of our promising youngsters.
Staying as we are should not be an option.

The sad fact is I think our chances if of automatic promotion are as good as gone I really can't see us gaining 8 points on Donny or tranmere so looks like it will be playoffs again for us and we all know what that means. Also we will be without kitson next season. When did the pigs get rid of megson. Maybe if in this position with ten games to go it would be worth a gamble.
Sacked him a few days after they beat us (26th Feb) with 13 league games to go...they went on to get 33 points out of a possible 39

i think my sides just split! we barely have any players anybody else in this division would be that bothered about having. maguire, mainly for the future. mcdonald last season. murphy in time, who knows. right now, we pretty much have nowt. a group of average league one players, none of whom would be good enough for the championship. just look at our midfield/attack...mcdonald, doyle, flynn, blackman, murphy, semi-retired kitson. hardly strikes the fear of bejesus into the opposition does it?
