A few tweets saying that Danny is offski but no doubt it is some Fowl fan BS.

Probably similar to the Macca to Wednesday tweets.

@PaulWalker perhaps?

Seth Bennet tweeted this morning that there was some bad news about one of the local clubs but said more detail to follow tomorrow

Well it would be the final kick in the bollocks if he went.

The next thing would be bramall lane being sucked into a blackhole.

DW doesnt strike me as a quitter but I think he has one hell of a job on his hands this coming season to make us anything like a competitive unit. He has my support but I think it will be extremely tough.

If you imagine that a worst case scenario could be the three out of contract players going, Monty staying on his large wedge and no budget left for new additions I cannot see how anyone can deliver under such circumstances.

If Monty stays, on his current wage packet, and hampers the potential of bringing new blood into the squad in the form of wages made available and the team struggles I can see a torrent of abuse and vitriol heading his way from many fans.

Dont think this new season is going to be pretty.

DW to Quit??????????????????????????
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cant we sack the pig instead?

That was a joke btw

He'll not go anywhere....
It's a good job for him and he has the backing of the fans and hopefully the board

Probably a different topic, but you say he has the backing of the fans. With how fickle our lot can be (not limited to us, I accept) if we're shit this season, how long do people think it would take for him to fall out of favour?

I've got to say I'd be likely to stick by him regardless of results next season. He's working with his hands tied at the moment so, in my view, even if results don't go our way, we should stick with him because we saw what no money to spend, coupled with instability can do to a team the season before last. I'm not sure everybody will be as patient as that though.

DW know's the score as well as any of us, he knows he needs to deliver next season and he knows his arse will be on the line if things go badly. I can't see him delaying much longer before he gives the out of contract trio an ultimatum to sign or we'll withdraw the offer. He has to know sooner rather than later so he can get a squad in place. I wish him well and I hope he sticks it out. If we can somehow survive this season in one piece, next season would see him with some financial head room to make significant development of the squad.

Reminds me of the song title 'what a difference a day makes' or in our case a year. He has to stay.( is that a song title or am iI pissed well early?)

Maybe the bad news is that Sheffield's second side are now so 'massive' that it is exerting its own gravitational pull on the whole solar system, ultimately collapsing in on itself, forming a black hole, and causing all life to come to an end. Perhaps the Mayans got the date right, just not the circumstances ;)
Won't stop me being a Blade though.

Agree Bartman. Seth the pig just likes the limelight

He's talked to me on the phone with me in merely a pair of danger mouse boxers...FACT.

Probably why he suddenly thinks he's made the big time :D
