going to any top side stopping them scoring is objective numero uno , the win is icing on the cake

first team to 60 points , always a good omen
last 9 to do that have gone up

Quality, commitment and know-how will take us up mate, not statistics.

Walking in a Wilson Wonderland!

Superb result - we need to push on now. Arguably our most difficult game in the run in today, and proves we should fear no-one.

Have we given up with the "crocked loan player apology thread" then?

Whats with the apology ?
Danny Wilson's objective was to get promotion - at present we are in the mix for automatic promotion mainly due to the league being of such low quality that two points cover the top six placings!
There has been four teams heading the table in the last two weeks - calm down everyone!
There is still a massive job to do before any talk of promotion - remember we have just come off a run where Hartlepool, Yeovil and Coventry all beat us at BDTBL on the bounce!
Great win yesterday but the job's not done
Plaudits for Mr Wilson as and when we get promotion - remember last year!!

Agree to a certain extent F.B and i've always said judge the man at the end of the season, not the kneejerk reaction of a few defeats. What happened last year , striker sent down, striker got injuried , striker was shit ( bolton guy,).which left porter and cresswell . Combined speed of a snail. Also in wembley final uddersfields better strikers did'nt score a hatful either .UTB.

Enjoy the moment but hopefully the team aren't getting as carried away as some of the fans. In the same way they weren't all chucking themselves off cliffs when we got beat by Coventry.

If promotion is achieved Wilson should take massive credit along with the team. In spite of meddling from McCabe he has maintained a competitive squad.

!

Why does 2 points between the top 6 mean it is low quality? Could be that the top 6 are of a similar high quality ?

I was going to say exactly the same thing!! How does the analogy work in the Premier League?

weve only lost 5 this season out of 33 wed lost 8 after 33 , 9 after 34, the points spread is tighter due to more drawn games, nothing else, last season Charlton squeezed a lot of late wins, as did the owls that turned draws into wins , between them scoring 8 goals after 95 minutes, not been happening this season

The away form has been crucial to our promotion push, it is time for everyone to get behind the lads at the Lane and help get us over the line. I think some strong vocal backing at home will help us in the final quarter of the season to get the points we need.

High Quality is like losing three home games on the bounce!
Tranmere lost 1-5 last week, Bournemouth have now lost two on the spin, Swindon having sold their best player, losing their manager and Doncaster can't buy a win at the moment - High Quality You're Joking!

True with the poor run we had since Boxing day we should have been close to being out of the play off spots never mind topping the league, only four wins on the bounce and we are back on track unbelievably shows that none of the other teams around us are showing any sort of consistency or ability to take advantage of others slumps................. a good team would be as far ahead as Charlton were last season.

If we win the next 6 games then lose the seventh you'll still get your jackos on here reminding us all of the, 'bigger picture!'
Well done Danny boy!

It could be, but having watched the standard of football from the teams at this level, I can safely say it isn't.
I agree with you. The point i was making is that all because they is 2 points between 6 times doesn't neceaasrily mean it is poor quality. Fiery appears to think that it does.

So because other teams lose the league is of poor quality ? You may be right about the quality,Fiery, but it has nothing to do with 6 teams having only 2 points between them or that a team loses 2 on the trot, sold a good player, lost a manager or on a poor run. This happens in the Premier League and Champions League so by your definitions they are poor leagues as well.

Check the league tables:
Premier Gap between 1 and 6 - 26 points Man Utd have dropped 26 points this season
Championship Gap between 1-6 - 15 points Cardiff City have dropped 29 points this season
Div One Gap between 1-6 - 2 points Blades have dropped 39 points this season
Div 2 Gap between 1-6 - 13 points Gillingham have dropped 34 points this season

Whichever way you look at it we have dropped more points than any other league leader, the gap is smaller between 1-6 than any other league and there is no outstanding team to take advantage.
Yeovil have been on a nine match winning run and are still behind us, Bournmouth have lost three games in 18 and are still behind us - It's a poor league!
