Just had a look too. It's all gone very quiet and RS must know that something is going off or has had!

It’s a weird one in terms of wilders mates etc and if wilder himself was retweeting them then I’d also not be happy about it.
The loans thing came from the prince in an interview he did on talk sport.

If everything was roses it would probably not worry me so much but at a time when all the noise surrounding the club is chaotic I’d like to see calm considered leadership not cryptic stuff dropped out here and there.

My deeper concern stems from a belief that we as a club are at a real crossroads which could come to define the next decade and cool heads and clear leadership are needed at all levels.

If there was nothing to report then Radio Sheffield should be saying as much, because Alan Biggs is normally someone who posts with knowledge and so is Gagey, so it would be nice to have confirmation whatever.

Yogi, we often seem to be at real crossroads...none greater than the court case which could easily have derailed promotion and seemed at one point to be on the point of causing Wilder to quit.

I'm hoping this is sorted out. We know the Prince doesn't have massive resources but I think a lot of us have been pleasantly surprised by the amount of money we have spent. Also most of us want Wilder to continue in the managerial role.

The 2 things I can see that would cause him to resign is if his loan suggestions have been rebuffed or the board are trying to appoint a DOF above his head.

Fingers crossed that this is a big storm in a very large teacup that has blown itself out by the weekend

I agree we’ve been at a few crisis points down the years 😂. I guess it’s sort of linked to the prince’s funds (not criticising him) but the prem money gives us a chance to build new squad and better facilities that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to do under the prince or McCabe before him.

My nervousness around wilder leaving is we get another Robson situation and this chance passes us by as there’s no guarantee we’ll get it again.

Ultimately as it seems no statement is forthcoming from the club we’ll know for certain depending on who walks out to do the FA cup pressers in the next couple of days.

Gage knows fuck all ,everyone at the Lane hates him (from someone at the Lane) and Biggs is to journalism what Moose is to the Green cross code.

He did seem a bit despondent at the weekend when asked about the prospective loans. Said something like , 'Well my requests are in with the board' but he didnt sound too confident.

Just heard a rumour from a pig friend of mine (yes, I know!) that he's been saying his goodbyes with the players today, but I'll take that with a pinch of salt.

he looked terrible after the palace defeat i just wonder if his health isnt good as well as everything else same happened to david wagner at udders

I do wish they'd not said anything to be honest. It's certainly a case of better to be schtum until it's confirmed but because they're jounrnalists people want them to break news or they themselves do it because it's their job, so it's not an easy position to be in also I guess.
 
They want to appear as being in the know, just like the Twitter army

I said when he walked off at Palace he was pale and drawn, he looked like he either had or was having a heart attack. WE can all sit here and pontificate but we have no idea of the stress he's under, let's hope it all sorts out for the best, don't want him having a heart attack.
 
Kevin McCabe took a lot of stick and made some poor decisions ..a lot of good ones too though. I worried when the Prince won the dispute with Kev that the biggest thing we’d miss would be his long experience at running a big (but not massive) UK professional football cub. If the rumours correct I can see why the owners might want a Director of Football to help fill this gap. But I can also see why Wilder wouldn’t.
