Wish someone living nearby, one of those houses overlooking the training ground maybe could take a photo of Wilder at training! He must still be there, or surely we'd have heard more concrete rumours that he's off from the likes of Radio Sheffield. Saying that, they're always the last to confirm anything!

Let's be honest, there's no chance he's gone and that one of our divs or their wags wouldn't have spilled the beans on social media.

I did
River Plate 78
Walsall relegation 81
Didn't do Stoke but I did do
Port Vale (a) Boxing Day 2014 Got back home 1am.

Am I ok or a cu#t ?

Infact don't answer that lol.
Your in. Came back through bakewell that day, not sure how though. White out!

it would stop all this speculation if the club came out and told us it was nonsense and thats slightly concerning to me unlike most posters who think no news is good news
It’s not no news that’s worrying me it’s the malaise that took place last night on social media.

Don't get why they need to make a statement. PA said we'd be sticking with CW whatever so presumably that hasn't changed. It's only a few attention seekers on Twitter that have people in a flap - can't be making statements based on fuck all.

The issue is that last night the prince was retweeting one of those attention seekers

I thought the same. Very worried again.
Why are you very worried ? If he has walked ( and it is a big IF) the club moves on and finds a new manager. The club will find a new manager who may or may not do better than CW over the next 3-4 years. If he hasn't walked, nothimg changes although many will see this as more 'worrying' in view of our current performance levels.
What will be,will be.

Why is a retweet a concern? If you are referring to the tweet by Jim Phipps it wasnt advocating the sacking of Wilder. Indeed, other tweets from him were giving Wilder his support but these don't seem to be mentioned. ( same as the positive ones from Biggs and Gage dont get mentioned either on many occasions)

I dont understand why people get concerned by retweets and likes on social media. If they analyse it that deeply, I would suggest keeping off social media for a while as it tends to get toxic

My issue is that him retweeting that information confirms what Phipps has said. Now Phipps is entitled to say whatever he likes he’s not involved with the club. If the prince wants to disclose what we pay players that’s also fine by me it’s his prerogative as owner. My problem is that should be done through official channels through an interview or press statement by the club. Twitter is not the medium by which we should be finding out about how the club is run.

Keep reading that CW has jumped ship, personally I find it hard to believe as he seems to have more scruples than that. I suppose we'll find out one way or another, okay Covid has hit the squad and injuries, doesn't help some daft chuff playing dodgems with a Lamborghini.

The DOF model is massively overrated and a failure almost everywhere it's been tried; particularly with small to middling clubs. United have a similar system in place with the transfer committee so its unlikely to be the huge operational development some seem to think it'll be anyway.

Surely every team in the Premier League except us uses some version of the DoF model?

got no idea if this is true but appeared on my timeline because callum cheswick has liked it

Really dont want him to go

Other than the fact that Mousset's crash happened before training was supposedly cancelled and that training wouldn't be cancelled just because Wilder resigned (unless the entire staff also resigned on the same day), how come no journalists/pundits have "seen a timeline" but random Twitter man has?

I agree . However people also tweet how the club is run as they have been told this by someone else. Some people then jump on it as the truth. In my opinion the Prince hasnt confirmed what Phipps says as correct, just that Phipps is putting a different slant on things to gain perspective which the Prince agrees with.

The cynic in me says it may be Wilder using his own contacts via social media to deflect from his own performance in particular re wages and that he is only allowed loan signings. As I say, no facts to base this but just an old git being cynical

Solicitors and agents would not be sorting anything for a period of two days as there is nothing to sort if he has walked.
He would subsequently have terminated his contract and just walks away

There's the question of notice

Something must have gone on, but if he had walked or was sacked yesterday then surely we'd know about it officially by now, money side of it can be sorted after or should be in the contract anyway and therfore a formality. If nothing's come out by this evening but we're still hearing these really annoying rumours (that's putting it kindly) I'd hope that Radio Sheffield could at least shed some light on it!

RS commentators seem to be doing nothing.

Alan Biggs now waffling on about Norwich city centre.

Kevin Gage now back talking about COVID conspiracy theories.
