I think everyone would prefer Wilder to be given time to put it right but he has to be open to making changes. Wilder has painted himself into a corner with his recruitment which means he has not got a lot of wiggle room with the formation. That said we are in a transfer window. So he will need to put his Football League wheeler dealer hat on to offload some players and bring some players in that can play different roles.

To me, nothing needs to be leaked, Wilder and the true fans are one.
The true fans and Wilder are one also.
I feel for him and I damn know he feels for us, maybe thereby that is part of the problem.
Yes maybe he has looked despondent lately, but so have we, so have the players.
Take a deep breath Mr Wilder, and let's get on with it, we've come this far together let's go again.UTB

I don't want to get into any protracted argument but let me say this, football for me is not about highly skilled, and therefore highly paid mercenary players.
It's about passion, Wilder has it, Billy has it, Bash has got it along with umpteen thousands of supporters of Sheffield football whatever side of the city you support

Wish someone living nearby, one of those houses overlooking the training ground maybe could take a photo of Wilder at training! He must still be there, or surely we'd have heard more concrete rumours that he's off from the likes of Radio Sheffield. Saying that, they're always the last to confirm anything!

No news is good news i suppose, im not believing anything else on this one until the club comes out and makes a statement of some kind. If no statement commeth then Mr Wilder must be allowed to get on with the job in hand forget all this nonsense and begin the rebuild (maybe with a little guidance on transfers).

I wouldn't be surprised if the first picture of this tweet is the closest thing we get to a club statement on the current 'situation'



Also subtly telling us Freeman is coming back 😉

it would stop all this speculation if the club came out and told us it was nonsense and thats slightly concerning to me unlike most posters who think no news is good news
