I wouldn't be to fussed by that, so long as they are squad players not starting XI

So you expect us to have 20 players that are good enough to be constant starters? That is about as realistic as us starting with Messi up front come the start of the season.

We should demand more than we have had the past few years, but if you don't keep your demands realistic, you end up becoming a joke.

I agree with your point, we have a lot of bang average players on our books, some of which if I had my way would never pull on the shirt again Long included (I'll never forgive Gillingham way this season) but I think we've got to be pragmatic, it's about the lack of finance and you can get through a season with 12-15 players. We need a squad and for that to happen on a budget we may have to lump it, doesn't mean we have to be happy about it!

Do hope that Tel Kennedy's surprise appearance yesterday was merely a farewell game.

It'd be taking BladeyBladeness to levels of stupidity to retain a (now overweight) player who's barely played a game for two years through chronic injury problems.

Yes I do . That's how you build a promotion side . No room for sentiment , passengers or players who have not done it for us in the past . Paid good salaries and done fuck all . I expect every player wanting to push for the first 11 , and if they are not playing , they are pissed off big time , knocking down Wilders door.

Majority of our players are not bothered if they play or not . Take the money , sit on there arse , do not fight for the cause . Players get managers the sack . We have a chance to get rid of dead wood , let's not waste it .

My humble opinion .
