If Hackford (and I can't honestly remember who it was on the video) was the lad who scored a couple of decent free kicks, he'd be worth 15 minutes just for that opportunity. We've played games where 1 or even 2 players have barely had an impact, putting a youngster on isn't going to be any worse for the team.

Can not agree more mate .The seniors are not doing it so lets have a look at the lads even if he only gets 15 mins it would be a real shot in the arm for the lad and other young ones would take note to that it is possible to get in the squad even if it is to warm the bench.

Zaha has been playing centrally this season mainly off benteke, eze and Townsend have been the main wide players.

I really don't understand, if we're struggling for numbers, why a few more U-23 players are put on the bench. I realise that means taking them out of one squad and into another but it's not rocket science.
