Port Vale game = Sex Pistols gig

I was at the Port Vale game. Would have loved to have been at the Pistols gig at the Mucky Duck (more for The Clash really) but sadly I wasn’t. Should have been. Still kicking myself.

I was, however, at the Television gig at the City Hall with Blondie supporting.

It's this sort of stuff that I don't get and happens all the time in today's society - you have to be one or the other on something in terms of opinions. Actually you don't. You can see both sides of a situation and don't have to be one or the other down the line. You don't have to be a believer or a denier and pick your side. You can actually think as I do that some...maybe even a lot.... of the things the Govt have done are ridiculous and not agree with lots of things but still recognise that this virus is real and is not going away and is having a huge affect on the world. Every country has dealt with it differently. Not sure anyone has nailed it particularly in terms of policy/decisions proving it is maybe more than just the flu as some have alluded to.

Incidentally, wonder where the deniers as you put them form their opinion from - does it just crystalise in the mind or is it based on looking at facts (noone knows the accuracy of these), TV, press, scientists (again who do you believe), others to form an opinion? So no real different - just a different opinion based in information they receive and process?

Hospitalisation is low at the minute but when these younger people that are getting infected at the minute start passing it on at home to mums and dads , grandads and grandma’s it doesn’t take a genius to work out what will happen !

Wow, a Covid ward actually exists? At a time where there's four hospitals per patient that seems remarkable

I agree. Early on it made sense to do it. Now deaths and hospital cases are next to none. I don't understand why we are locking down still, or if there is another agenda, I can't understand what it is, because it doesn't seem to give anybody any advantage.

Same except I saw Television at sheffield Uni and Blondie and the Jam. Cant believe I didnt go to the Pistols gig ,6 months to early for me probably.
