Interestingly, the fans with the most loyalty points are likely to be the oldest ones, i.e. the ones most at risk from coronavirus.![]()

From what was said on the CSS Phone-In, ST holders at Celtic Park that will be allowed in to the ground will be told where to sit.
They won't be able to just go to the seat they've bought.
This sounds like the norm that will happen at the grounds throughout Scotland. Maybe England too?
Me too! Based on age and loyalty points. That'll be me then![]()
Everyone should take responsibility though by wearing a mask in public.
If everyone would do that, the people who are at greater risk wouldn't be prisoners in their own homes and things would get there.
While people at high risk should be careful, they still need to and should be able to go outside/have a life. If the 'not at risk' people take no responsibility they'll pass it on to the at risk people even if they're taking responsibility for themselves and masking up etc.
Everyone together takes responsibility or nothing will get better.
It’s when you come, or if you’re posh , arrive. What’s an orgasm? ☺
1 in 150 is not the mortality rate for a start.
I was just going to respond similarly to Geordie Blade but you beat me to it.
And all respect to Geordie Blade btw, but he’s reflecting what the majority of people are thinking.
I respect your point of view and I think you’re being very responsible. If everyone thought like you the risk would be much reduced.
But I think you are over estimating the protection from mask wearing. It’s of little or no relevance in outdoor spaces. it may have some marginal benefit if people are together in confined spaces indoors for a considerable period of time. But even that isn’t certain because all the evidence so far is based on contaminated patients, not on the general population.
I posted the latest update on this the other day - the biggest study so far, published in The Lancet.
It concludes that mask wearing, by itself, is not offering protection. If combined with other infection control measures it may have a marginal benefit.
It also mentions the virus can enter via the eyes. A mask does nothing about that.
These are the facts.
So what do you propose?
Should we mummify ourselves and stay in for fear of contracting something that will do no serious harm to 99.5% of the population, or should we just get back to work and take our chance, save the economy, save lives that will be lost to other causes, save jobs, save livelihoods, avoid the biggest threat to life as we have ever known it?
We’ve not really had 100,000 fans crossing the country every week, mainly on public transport though have we?No away fans all season
This shit is going to far now its not been a pandemic for months now
Let me guess....Listening to the Clyde Super Scoreboard Phone-In tonight, it looks like Celtic v Motherwell next Saturday (29th August)
will be a test-run for allowing supporters into the stadium. Date in Scotland is set for September 14th for letting supporters
into grounds with possibly a limit of 20% of the capacity.

No away fans in the higher leagues seems an obvious and sensible position for this season.
The numbers travelling in your example aren’t going to be near the 100,000 mark. What about fans of clubs who don’t live in the city/town of their club? Should we not allow fans who live outside Sheffield into Bramall Lane?
If we’re limiting the number of fans into stadiums, I don’t see why it’s an increased risk allowing away fans in as there will be thousands of home fans travelling the country to attend matches anyway.
I’ve had enough now and sick of being told “but people are dying” and “what if it was one of your family members” and “you’re selfish for wanting a life” just fuckoff!
Why can’t as someone suggested above let Football fans have a say if they’re prepared to take a risk? There have been countless examples of crowds gathering since April with fuck all consequences Bournemouth beach, VE Day, various protests and statue demos, football fans congregating, even countless illegal raves!
If the media blanket banned reporting of Covid barely any fucker would know it exists.
Think someone needs to start a movement to get us back, you’re going to have the ridiculous scenario of 8k in ground and pubs round city centres bursting with people watching game, what’s the difference.
What a load of horse shit.
It's almost as if the precautions being taken are shown to be working
. Schools back in a couple of weeks. If all goes well limited fans from October and then slowly more and more. It's prudent to do it in phases to see what we can do.
Of course some people are impatient toddlers who will stamp and scream but most of us are adults.
I feel the same but we've just got to be patient and things will slowly get back to.normalYes very impatient I basically want to get back to the lane doing something I’ve done for nigh on 40 years.
Which is why I believe the loyalty points system will be used as there are currently no season ticket holders. Probably games sold in groups of 3/4 games with you being allowed to purchase one ticketing those group of games. Club will tell fans where they are sittingBe interesting how the club deal with the numbers of a strict low max capacity.
There will be a notable number as a percentage of 8 or 9 thousand that don't have season tickets who will get priority over long term season ticket holders.
Count me in !Whoever was at the infamous Port Vale home match under Heath, that was 8,900 wasn't it? Or 65,000 if you believe every f***er that says they were

Apologies for being a harbinger of doom. Having spent the last four weeks trying to advise on access for visitors into Care Homes I've come to the conclusion that the whole process of trying to manage Covid 19 secure environments is disappearing fast under a sea of bureaucracy.
Attached is the Governments latest guidelines on getting spectators back into elite sports stadiums which includes premiership football. This is similar to the type of documentation I have been having to review for Social Care. Don't expect anyone to read through it all but the sheer scale of what Clubs are being asked to consider will have an impact on what they can realistically put in place in the relatively short timescales available.
Even when the Club are able to get the stadium Covid secure they will have to stand the test of SAG and will be at the mercy of local Public Health England Protection teams for deciding whether spectators can attend owing to local infection rates. There is the distinct possibility that we will continue to be excluded from games should the LHPT's deem it unsafe even in situations where ticket sales have taken place. There is little or no information available in the public domain currently as to what parameters these LHPT's are working to in coming to their decisions. So in summary even if you are lucky enough to acquire a ticket for a game there is a risk you may still be prevented from attending.

Well you're in son, best get househuntingI'm a West Sussex exile since 94, only get to a handful of games a season.
I was there!
Excellent. As that third Vale goal went in and Kev was printing out the p45 for Aidy, I gratefully thought 'well at least I'll be able to get a ticket should there be a future pandemic in the coming decades that vastly reduces ground capacity.'Well you're in son, best get househunting
