Crowd tonight

Watching on sky it sounded cagey, when it did get loud it was pretty loud but didnt last much longer than 40-60 seconds at a time before going a bit flat and nervous again. For our standards i’ve heard it much more consistently loud.

Please could you move out of the aisle at half time so I can get out for a cig?

The Premier League have read this post and photos of you are now being circulated amongst stewards for the next game.

I recommend getting in touch with Crab Industries espionage division, their disguises are first rate. I needed to blend in at an awards show and the Mickey Rourke disguise they got me was so good I managed to get in through the kitchen with all the raw meat no problem.

Yeah fair comment. It was a low blow, and I apologise, but it seems you like to stick the boot into our fans (and especially the Kop) at every opportunity.

We were back of the Kop tonight and it was almost constant noise, and raucous at times, disjointed occasionally but still constant and loud. I'm currently sat watching the Sky coverage and it's a wall of sound from our end. The commentators mentioned numerous times how loud we were and how much we backed the team.

Having a pop seems crazy. Most grounds are dogshit for noise from the home fans. We've been amazing this season, and the backing tonight was first class, again!

You seem to constantly want to affect change. Maybe the best way you could that would be to join the back of the Kop and join in?

I'm back of the kop and for me it was best atmosphere this season

The “BLUT experiment” as somebody called it is definitely working. For away fans to have noise coming at you from four directions is quite intimidating. That’s why both Liverpool and Arsenal fans were shite.

chant was good last night. Great when that gets kept going for more than 5 minutes.

It was a great atmosphere. No fans sing for the entire match and we have certainly been louder than most this season. All the tv pundits always refer to our loud and passionate support.

Sky are notorious for fucking up/getting out-of-synch the crowd noises. Any lull in our home supprt is a bit of apprehension when the oppos. attack. We know how the PL can change in a split second.

Now if you want real atmosphere, you should have been at pigs v Stoke on Tuesday:

I've a season ticket for the South Stand. Tonight I went on the kop. I've not been on the kop for 2 seasons but tonight was as loud as it's ever been.

Brilliant atmosphere. And as those scousers said the crowd are not just the 12th man but the 13th man as well.

I can only think that the noise doesn't travel well from the Kop. I was at the far end of the South Stand (F Block) and for long periods heard nothing from the kop. Hopefully when / if it's developed, we can do something to make the noise carry better as it (used to) from the BL Upper in my youth.

Let’s never pass up the opportunity to slag our own fans off eh?

There won’t be many opportunities this season so pile in guys.

Thought it was quiet through the first half. However to be expected is a Monday night after all

It’s so annoying when people only quote the first verse. I always forget the lyrics after that.
How does the rest of it go again?

Some of our fans don't half like to pull us down, nothing at all wrong with the noise levels on Monday night. The way games pan out changes the noise levels and after going in front after half a hour we never had to chase the game that was Arsenals job. When they are passing across the back and doing bugger all it will be a bit quiet when we had the ball it was as loud as ever, the last 10mins were very loud. I'd tend to go along with the neutrals who watched the game they seem to think it is loud so it can't be that bad there are a lot of places in the Premier league that hold more fans than the lane does, they ought to be louder than we are.

Are you saying it's every fans individual responsibility to create a collective raucous atmosphere? 😵 That's too radical Flawed, never catch on😁😉.
