Well that's confirmed who the biggest club in Sheffield is well done stay aways .Brentford have also lost 6 play offs but I bet there ground is full monday and not half empty .

The pigs are good at turning out for one off games but lack staying power, loyalty and passion. That's why they haven't averaged 30k for f'kin years - they couldn't even manage it when they qualified for Europe - whereas we did it under Warnock despite getting relegated.

I don't believe that figure. I suggest he's lying at worst, or being economical with the truth at best. There is no reason is should cost £20M a year to run this club as it is now.

I agree but not having access to Kevs bank statement means I can't question it.

We all have thoughts, ideas and opinions that we post but the guy with the purse strings has made a public statement so at the moment that's the only fact I have to hand.

Apart for the fact we are shit.

He stated (about Blackman) "I hope he stays" - which given that he was in possession of his contract for the next 2 1/2 years, clearly wasn't fact. I also have a tiny inkling that Beattie didn't have Flu, but it's more likely than the suggestion that McCabe is putting £1M per month into us right now.

wendies have 10000 fans who turned up v boro who wont go through the turnstyles again until next seasons must win to stay up last home game , who needs that sort of ultimate part timer

wednesday have to compare like with like

wednesday have just sneaked over 24000 average for their 23 games this season
in 2009 /10 under blackwell we finished with a 25000 average , finishing in 8th

doesnt look so impressive now

comparing our crowds when we have crawley bringing 300 to wednesday playing teams bringing 3000 is a bit unfair

wendies in the season in league 1 with no derby games

17800
we have averaged 18600 this year playing all poorly supported sides so how does that show wendies have better support

But last season, when we were in the same division, in almost identical form up until the very end, they averaged a couple of thousand more. But seriously, who cares which team gets more, both are good fans which outdo most other cities and both have suffered immensely due to mismanagement.

This is about United. 15000 is a bad attendance for us, but that's not because we have bad fans. The fans have proven they'll turn out, but they have a limit.

I wonder what the policy on tickets will be next season if we stay down? Less fans, so better charge more to those that do turn up? Good thinking boss.

May I suggest he has a right to his opinion..... of course! ;)

may i suggest you stop wasting your time watching football and get on the blower to earl and make him finish his damn list already!

We would have less of one, if you want to stay away thats fine but dont start having a go when we are not spending money on wages transfer fees, loan players etc, we need money through the gate to keep us ticking over . Supporters that pay money to get into BDTBL are the life blood of the club. We are where we are and deserve to be in this division we need to get out of it pronto.
As for regime change they are all queuing up to take over from Mc Cabe get real FFS

we had, i presume without actually looking, the biggest gates in the league this season. sold lowton. let quinn go for nothing. let williamson go. signed but then sold blackman. lost ched, simonsen, monty, philliskirk off the wage bill. sold mcallister. and except from murphy signed nobody apart from a few old hasbeens and useless muppets on loan. so roughly thats about 7 or 8 players we will have less than we had a year ago. yet now, if crowds are down next season, it will be our fault for not going that we dont sign any players?!

yeah. ok then...

Yes, but the pigs were on the up and we were on a downwards spiral, having been relegated the season before. As Blade Too Long points out ( and despite our abysmal home form and some shocking away followings this season) we have still averaged more than they did in 10-11. And given they have 20 millions fans, the fact that they have not averaged 30,000 since the 60's is poor.
