Thought they came to win and very well could have. I think the people getting arsey about time wasting were basing it on last season. If we're gonna slag them when they time waste, they should get credit for making it an open enjoyable match.

Don't really agree. I think they were completely outclassed, then got lucky with a goal. We were then a bit shellshocked and let them play a bit for the rest of the half.

The longer the second half went on, the more they were playing for a draw and did a fair bit of time wasting.

But it turned out OK in the end. We greased em up and bummed em when they weren't looking! Perfik!

Agree, I was summing the match up on 90 minutes.

Going to be another draw in a match we probably deserved to win.
However it was an entertaining game with both teams creating great chances to score.
Even if it had ended 1-1 I thought I got my money’s worth today.

The kid down the left looked a bit dangerous. Dunno who he is. I thought a lot of the problems they caused were of our own doing- we lost out on a lot of second balls today. They’ll be mid-table, never troubling the play offs, nowhere near going down.

On another day, and with better finishing we beat them 3 or 4-1.

FK Norwich

FK Rhodes

And their Manager can Farke off anall

We were rattled when CW got frustrated and changed the shape taking Freeman off....that could and should have cost us dear...but fortune I suppose favours the brave (on this occasion)

They just seem to pass the ball around but not get anywhere. We thoroughly deserved to win would have been disappointed with a draw.

Think that result could've gone either way. Their lad's a split second from clearing it before it crossed the line on our first one. They've hit the post and missed the clearest chance of the game. Norwich weren't anywhere near as hard to watch as last season, but then they didn't ever have a lead to defend.

Spot on. Norwich have a bit of pace and skill going forward. Something we’re desperately lacking really. We look a fairly solid but definitely mid-table side on that showing. Was great to snatch the win.

I thought first twenty minutes we were outstanding. Compared to the Swansea and Boro games we were like a completely different side. The defensive weaknesses will cost us two or three places in the table but I'm too relieved to see us passing the ball around and being attack-minded again to really care right now.

I can barely believe I am reading this.

Can’t believe your comment, think you need to explain yourself.

It was an entertaining match or do you just base entertainment on the result, so if we play shit but win, then it’s classed as entertaining.
Regards the match, although we dominated general play and had more chances, Norwich had some clear chances.
We deserved to win but Norwich had a few great chances., on another day we could have drawn or lost.

Agree about the first 20 minutes but we never looked like killing them off. As usual, they were allowed back into the game and probably (just about) deserved to win.

Anyway, enough of this fairness and reasonableness. For a team as insignificant as Norwich, I fucking hate them. It's probably because they have no serious clubs for many miles around Norwich, but they just seem to have a Wednesday-esque feeling of entitlement They've had a brief spell in the PL and are now back at their natural level.

Farke is one of those managers who bend the rules to breaking point and has instilled the same in his players. Make no mistake, as 90 minutes loomed, their benchs' attitude was clearly 'why the fuck are we only getting a point at Sheffield United?' There was a bit of pantomime in the technical area, CW pretending to play the ball back so that Norwich could take a throw on the halfway line, but deliberately missing it. This caused their assistant coach - Edmund Riemer - to gob off at CW, Chris responded and it briefly looked like a ruck was on :D. As 90 minutes was almost up, yet another Norwich player went down as if shot. This was a clear ploy to allow them to bring their last sub. on to mount one last attack. As the fourth official prepared his board to show how much extra time would be allowed, Riemer was in his face, waving a bit of paper. This was obviously 'Look, you're saying 3 minutes but our extra sub. means this should be increased.' The 4th official was having none of it.

I'm not making this up but when Sinclair goes on about MoTM it's natural that we all think 'Who would I give it to?' I think it was given to Egan but that's par for the course - giving it to somebody who's scored. Before Billy scored, I thought 'Billy. And if not, Leon.' Once again these two put incredible shifts in. Our forwards don't get much 'proper service', more hopeful through-punts or hope-for-the-best crosses.

Another of those games where nobody was outstanding and nobody was poor. Like United, we're not good, but we're not too shabby either.

The shihousery was creeping in towards the end so made the last gasp winner all the sweeter.

Agree, the last 10 minutes they tried to take the wind out of our sails by slowing the game down going down for fouls but that’s normal in game management, most clubs do it in the latter stages.
