There are 1100 hospital beds in Sheffield but the number of beds isn’t the limiting factor - it’s the staff that are able to care for sick respiratory patients. Numbers have kept increasing over November until there were only 25 beds remaining in all Sheffield hospitals. Numbers are only starting to come down this week.

I mean that doesn’t make any sense. Maybe have a chat with them in the morning rather than waking them up? If they work on a covid ward they will know how busy is has been. If they work in an elective area they may have found it quieter than usual as there is a pandemic going on meaning that people have to socially distance and take extra precautions to usual - even is hospital! Let me know what they say.

Absolute bullshit, that is not what I am hearing, I can't get near a hospital the best I can get is a phone call there must be hundreds of staff physio's etc and other specialist grades sat about doing fuck all. Try going to your GP not a chance you may get a phone call if you are lucky. I went to my doctors on Monday for my flu jab one young woman with a baby in a large waiting room that at any normal time would be packed the GP's have never had it so easy. My wife couldn't get to see her doctor and was sent to the new medical centre at Darnall where a doctor saw her in the fucking car park. I have missed all my screening for type 2 Diabetes this year so please tell me what the fuck are these health professionals doing apart from having an easy time because they are certainly not working on wards full of Covid patients. The NHS must be saving a fortune because anybody with other ailments and conditions have been left to rot for the last six months.

As someone going through cancer treatment myself, in my particular opinion this is bollocks. I don't give a shit if someone is vaccinated or otherwise. Their jab, as we know 2 years on from this post, stops nothing.
 
Having just read this thread, it's amazing how things change. It starts with claims only the jabbed will have the freedoms and be the only ones allowed on planes, in pubs and to matches. And here we are, completely wrong on all fronts. And the ones claiming all that? The ones going for the jabs.

There's comments claiming numbers of deaths were hyped up (turned out to be true). Comments that until side affects are known long term, that individual will risk their "freedoms". Turns out they were right to suggest that as we are now seeing with the growing list of side affects.

It's a great thread for hindsight and shows just how much the government fear drive really instilled a lot of selfish attitudes in people. Ironically, the only ones being referred to as selfish were the ones who said they wouldn't be getting the jab. I wonder, when looking back at posts, some posters think "my word, what was I thinking?"

People have a right to be sceptical without being called selfish or victimised. 2/3 years on, turns out they were right anyway.

Still are. Looking through the thread and there was a genuine call for the vaxxed and unvaxxed to be kept apart. I don't need to tell anyone that that is actually disgraceful. I get collared for saying trans people shouldn't be in the bogs where my 7 year old goes, while we have people saying "yes a business should bar the unjabbed if they choose to".

But if that same business tries banning a trans from a swimming baths because they choose to....?

It's a very very warped way of thinking, pushed forward by the mainstream media narrative. Some of the comments regards the jabs early on that they stop transmission - wrong. That's what might have been stated at the time but it was wrong. "Businesses can do what they want" said some. They can. But they didn't. To think the unjabbed were tret like lepers or second class citizens is actually worrying. And all it took was some lies repeated daily to turn it like that.

Everything suggested 2 years ago didn't happen. It was a fear drive. "I'll be on my holiday soon, where will you be?" - how much more arrogant can one be? And how did that turn out anyway? Yeah, not really as damaging as some thought, eh?
